RHEMA 4/04/12
WASHING DISHES BY HAND
HEARD:
You have the opportunity to come and do good. Go.
Overcome. Please be free. Your Father has need of
you. Message.
IMPRESSION: I perceived the name message was
spelled MESSage. And I was reminded of the Word the
Lord recently gave me about
MESSages. I was pondering on whether I should share
that MESSage on the www.
HEARD: Yes on the web.
CONFIRMATION:
In the
middle of the night and in the dark, as I am doubting
about putting it on the web, my wall heater clicks on
and its power surge turned on my Tiffany lamp in my
bedroom. OK Lord, I got the point.
PARABLE: Our dishwasher broke and we bought a
new one yesterday. We are having to wash dishes by hand
and this was quickened to me that right now the Lord is
asking me to wash certain individual mindsets about
their certain ways of thinking. I have been praying
earnestly that if I have any incorrect mindset about Him
and His Word, that He please help me see them and make
adjustment.
TODAY’S CONFIRMATION: Today’s Family Circus!
QUICKENED WORD : Today at
lunch I said, “I dont really mind washing dishes
individually by hand, if it convinced me and reassured
me that buying a new dish washer was the right choice.”
As soon as I said that, I realized it was a Word from
the Lord. A few weeks ago Wayne mentioned that we
needed a new dishwasher, as it did not drain. I said it
might just be soap filling the holes so we needed to
wait to be sure. He said, “Well I think this is warning
and we will have to wash dishes by hand if we dont order
one now, because it takes a week to have one
installed.” It drained the next cycle and so we didnt
buy one.
INTERPRETATION: In my older rhema washing dishes
has to do with washing our minds that are set against
certain ways God feeds us. He speaks in many ways and
some of them are tough to swallow and hard to
understand. Our tendency is to leave it on our plate
and it gets old and stuck there because we don’t deal
with it. Too much soap is condemnation and I have not
been sure if a certain mindset I have might be wrong, or
I am facing condemnation that just needs to be washed
away.
RHEMA 3/08/09 EACH CARRY HIS OWN WASHING LOAD
DREAM: I walked into a huge dish washing area
where everyone had left dirty dishes stacked and heaped
all over the place. The long kitchen counters were built
in long rows. There were rows of counters contained
about 5 sinks deep and about 9 sinks across. This place
appeared to be kitchen units for a cooking class of some
sort.
I watched everyone leave after eating in the other
room and I was left with the mess. I could not see the
counters or sinks for the dirty dishes. I realized that
the clean up duty was way too much for me and so I came
up with a organized plan to get each unit responsible
for their own messes, to keep them clean and intact with
their area. There were 4 gals that were willing to help
me.
First we were going to gather all the cups and put
them in one dishwasher together. And the dishes would go
in another dishwasher. The knives in another. And we
would just keep filling each dishwasher with the same
item. Then after they were clean, we would go through
each kitchen stall’s units and make sure they each had
the same equipment to start, with nothing missing. Later
when the student cooks came back they would all have
their own equipment ready for them.
I also organized their placement. The older leaders
were the farthest away from the front, at the end of the
rows. And the younger classmates were closest to the
front. This way the leaders could keep an eye on the
younger ones and still face front towards what was going
on.
Gal 6:4-5 AMP
But let every person carefully scrutinize and examine
and test his own conduct and his own work. He can then
have the personal satisfaction and joy of doing
something commendable {in itself alone} without
{resorting to} boastful comparison with his neighbor.
For every person will have to bear (be equal to
understanding and calmly receive) his own {little}
load{of oppressive faults}.
GET THE MONKEYS OFF YOUR BACK 11/17/11
VISION:
I opened up the garbage can door and suddenly I had the
sense of being an elephant and I rolled my back over
like an elephant would and dumped some banana peels off
into the trash. This represents getting rid of the
monkey on my back. A reader sent me a Word last week
about cleaning dirty dishes and garbage in the kitchen
is about washing the residue of stuck mindsets off. This
was quickened to me that sometimes when we carry the
burden of the Word of the Lord, monkeys climb on our
backs too and we need to get rid of the monkeys and
their slippery banana peels.
PARABLE: When we shopped to choose a dishwasher,
they price them based on the decibels and noise that
they make in the room. I felt this was a parable of God
doing correction quietly behind the scenes and also with
a quiet and gracious spirit.
2 Tim 2:25-26 NLT
Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps
God will change those people's hearts, and they will
learn the truth. Then they will come to their senses and
escape from the devil's trap. For they have been held
captive by him to do whatever he wants.
