Warming and inviting,

Joyful and exciting.

Not too long and not too short.

Tender and supporting,

Comfort and forgiving.

Connections made in the heart.

Every kind of reason,

Every kind of season.

Bridging past gaps when apart.

Melting hearts I am tugged.

What am I?  I’m a hug.

Freely given from the start.
