WISDOM WHEN
FACING ACCUSATION 4/11/11
QUICKENED QUOTE:
FACING OCEAN
waves
I heard someone talk about learning to maneuver the
waves when you get knocked off your surfboard: When
swimming in the ocean, dont jump over the strongest part
of the wave because it is going to knock you down. If
you dive under the wave, you are in the calmest part of
the water. And when you come back up, the wave is
gone.
That was really quickened to me as wisdom from the Lord
when applied to facing demonic waves that sometimes hit
us. I heard this after facing a demonic attack through
a person who had interpreted a very demonic dream to be
about me. I saw the perversion of truth in the dream,
and instead of being angry or wounded, I took it to the
Lord and grew from the encounter.
Ps 42:7-8 NKJV
Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls;
All Your waves and billows have gone over me. The LORD
will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, and in
the night His song shall be with me — A prayer to the
God of my life.
WORD TO PONDER: WHEN FACING ACCUSATION 4/11/11
Precious heart, when the enemy accuses you, learn to bow
low and listen with a humble heart, refusing to justify
yourself. Trying to stand in self defense can be like
fighting the full brunt of an ocean wave that knocks you
off your feet. Learning to bow low in humility, defeats
the enemy and his attempt simply sweeps away as the
water of My Word washes over your soul.
When you are facing accusation, learn to separate and
discern the source. I never come to condemn you or
accuse you. I do allow the rod of correction to touch
your life to get your attention but it is always just.
As you resist My voice and My Word, I correct you in
increasing degrees. You already know that you have not
been corrected to what you deserve, for My mercy is
loving kindness.
When your enemy accuses you, it will be mixed with truth
and the perversion of truth. Through the lips of men it
will also be mixed with their own soul wounds, fears and
wicked hearts. Therefore learn to separate the just
part of My correction and truth from the wicked
perversions of the souls of men and the demons. As you
ask Me for wisdom, I will help you see the truth of
where you are not lining up with My image, and help you
receive the correction through My love. Repent of where
you fail. Give your failings to Me, realign and try
again. You are loved dear one. Simply allow what
touches your life to conform you to My image, for My
love washes over you and comforts and draws you closer
to Me.
Prov 16:7 NKJV
When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his
enemies to be at peace with him.
Matt 5:11-12 NKJV
"Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you,
and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My
sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is
your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the
prophets who were before you.
Heb 12:11-13 NLT
No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it's
painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest
of right living for those who are trained in this way.
So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen
your weak knees. Mark out a straight path for your feet
so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but
become strong.
WOUNDED OR CORRECTED? 8/24/04
There are times when you bare your soul before men
that you receive backlash. Accusation,
misunderstanding and judgment leaves you feeling
naked and shot. Worse yet, in your wounded state,
it leaves you feeling like a bad person. This
erodes and seeps down into your soul to further your
decay of failure into self rejection. Precious One,
listen to ME. This is not My good gift.
Yes, I feed tenderhearted correction into your life
as you need it. Yes, I use circumstances to form
you into My image. And, yes, I bring everything
into your life and turn it for good. But do not
think that I AM judging you, stripping you naked and
shooting you over your failures. I AM not rejecting
you, dear one, and neither do I ever point a finger
to condemn you. I weep with you as you mourn over
your mistakes, I weep even before you know you make
them.
My beloved child, would I severely discipline a
child who earnestly wants to please Me and seek My
way? I AM only stern to the rebellious who
defiantly turn from My loving and gracious heart. I
AM full of compassion over you who fall and tremble
at My Word. And how it moves My heart to wild
rejoicing as I see you willing to stand up and try
again! How proud of you I AM, dear one, to see you
keep on keeping on. Now, let My love wash and cover
you. You are not naked, you are clothed in My
forgiving and pure white garment of righteousness.
NIV Romans 10:4
Christ is the end of the law so that there may be
righteousness for everyone who believes.
POEM: IN BILLOWING WAVES I FIND YOU 3/09/08
Unresolved issues not yet at rest,
Swirls to surface all my mess.
Churning, billowing waves in my soul.
I yield to You to make me whole.
As I release it all through my tears,
You quiet my soul and calm my fears.
I leave it all at Your feet of love.
At Your throne, sweet mercy above.
Counting the cost and labor of soul.
I’m satisfied what’s taken its toll.
I offer to You for redemption,
Hoping good comes from conception.
My child, I understand all of you.
Deeply transparent, deeply true.
What you see as flawed, cracked and broken,
Gushes sacrifice, a pure token.
I use your tears, everything you share,
A sweet smelling bowl for what you bear.
Each and everything you give to Me
Is living substance to set you free.
I’ve kindled you pure in brilliant light,
I see no flaw, I see no blight.
For when you yield, giving all to Me,
In a pool of gold, it’s Me I see.
Mal 3:2-3 AMP
But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can
stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fire
and like fullers' soap; [Rev 6:12-17.] He will sit as a
refiner and purifier of silver, and He will purify the
priests, the sons of Levi, and refine them like gold and
silver, that they may offer to the Lord offerings in
righteousness.
RHEMA 7/08/11 SELF DEFENSE
READER QUESTION: It is wrong to defend yourself,
as in Isa 54:17 when you are falsely accused?
SANDY
RESPONSE: This is a good question.
Isa 54:17 is our spiritual inheritance to defeat the
demonic world by using our spiritual weapons to bind and
loose us from word curses and the demons behind them.
And Rev 12:10-12 is our opportunity to be a witness for
God's Word through our testimonies in Jesus. However
when we share the truth of our testimonies in Him, it is
only through Jesus' blood that we overcome. If we trust
in our own words (even in speaking truth) then we are
doomed to fail. Usually self defense has a root of
pride and allowing God to be our Defense is humility.
There is nothing wrong with speaking the truth and
letting it be known, however the spirit behind our
motives makes all the difference.
We have many scripture role models and too many
scriptures to list in regards to self defense and
humility. The key is to humble ourselves before God and
allow Him to be our Defense.
Isa 54:16-17 NKJV
"Behold, I have created the blacksmith who blows the
coals in the fire, who brings forth an instrument for
his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy. 17
No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every
tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall
condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the
Lord, and their righteousness is from Me," Says the
Lord.
Rev 12:10-12 NKJV
For the accuser of our brethren, who accused them
before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the
word of their testimony, and they did not love their
lives to the death.
James 4:10
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He
will lift you up.
JESUS
1 Peter 2:23-24
Jesus... when He was reviled, did not revile in
return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but
committed Himself to Him who judges righteously;
Matt 26:62-63
And the high priest arose and said to Him, "Do You
answer nothing? What is it these men testify against
You?" 63 But Jesus kept silent.
DAVID
When David was accused, he humbled himself and asked the
Lord to be his advocate and vindicate him.
Ps 35:11-14; 23-24 NKJV
Fierce witnesses rise up; They ask me things that I
do not know. 12 They reward me evil for good, To the
sorrow of my soul. 13 But as for me, when they were
sick, My clothing was sackcloth; I humbled myself with
fasting; And my prayer would return to my own heart. 14
I paced about as though he were my friend or brother; I
bowed down heavily, as one who mourns for his mother.
... 23 Stir up Yourself, and awake to my vindication, To
my cause, my God and my Lord. 24 Vindicate me, O Lord
my God, according to Your righteousness; And let them
not rejoice over me.
2 Sam 16:11-12 NKJV
And David said to Abishai and all his servants, "See
how my son who came from my own body seeks my life. How
much more now may this Benjamite? Let him alone, and let
him curse; for so the Lord has ordered him. 12 It may be
that the Lord will look on my affliction, and that the
Lord will repay me with good for his cursing this day.
PAUL
Rom 12:17-21
Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good
things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as
much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19
Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place
to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will
repay," says the Lord. 20 Therefore "If your enemy is
hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink;
For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his
head." 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil
with good.
Moses, Daniel, Joseph, Jeremiah and many more let God be
their Defense and vindication.
