When You are Away from Your Kids

HEARD: I kept you. I turned you.

PRAYER ENCOURAGEMENT: 13 strikes in a row!

My son has 2 close friends that spend a lot of time at our home and I have considered them my adopted sons whom I love and pray over. Today during bowling I watched one of them flub up consistently. This wasn’t like him and I could tell he was getting discouraged. I bound the enemy and prayed the Lord would help him so he wouldn’t feel bad about himself. Immediately he got 4 strikes in a row. They won the game and that gave me such joy to see the results of loving prayer!

I was getting tired of sitting so I decided to walk next door to the flower shop and on the way out the door I said, “Now Lord, just because the prayer support is leaving, please continue Your favor upon my boys. Bless them and help them to bowl well.”

When I came back, they had just finished that game. They were announcing over the loud speaker that my son bowled his best game ever: 278. He got 13 strikes in a row, including the last several from the previous game. We were all amazed.

I knew it was a sign and encouragement that God honors your loving prayers over all you have adopted.  Your prayers keep them and make a difference in their lives! 

WORD TO PONDER 11/1/97 PRAYER COVERAGE

What a difference your prayers make for those you love. It places a canopy of My favor over them and looses My angels from demonic hindrance to move on their behalf. I shall show you signs that your prayers do make a difference and this shall encourage you. And you shall know that whether your loved ones are near or far away that your prayers are equally effective.

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name.
