WHAT DO TO WHEN YOU DO NOT RECEIVE
CONFIRMATION WHEN YOU PROPHESY
When you have given a person a Word and there is no
confirmation, this can really shake your faith in
hearing the Lord, if you are used to experiencing 2-way
relationship when you are giving Words.
The more mature a person becomes in being sent with
Words, they learn how to fly only by being carried by
the Holy Spirit, and leaning on the Lord for
confirmation and validation. What once was a 2 way
reciprocation between people becomes a 2 way
relationship with the Lord. It is the Lord’s job to
establish His gifts in His people and He will bring
confirmations and validations in the most amazing
places. What is important at that level of faith is not
to look to a person for confirmation, but to the Lord.
2 Thess 2:16-17 NKJV
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God
and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting
consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts
and establish you in every good word and work.
1. ASK THE LORD TO ESTABLISH YOUR FAITH
Ask the Lord to fortify and increase your faith to
stand. Ask Him to complete the good work He has started
in you. Expect Him to answer that prayer and begin to
move in your life to increase your faith.
Heb 12:2
Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our
faith.
2. RESIST CONDEMNATION
If you are being bothered by not receiving a
confirmation, remember that Jesus does not condemn us.
Take the condemnation you feel back to Him and ask Him
for wisdom as to why you are feeling this. Learn to
rebuke the condemnation and not take this personally.
Bind demonic spirits of condemnation, fear and
insecurity, doubt, etc over yourself.
3. LOOSE THE PERSON TO RECEIVE
You may be feeling a spirit of judgment coming from the
person who did not receive the Word. There can be a
demonic boomerang affect when we give a Word and it is
either not received because of doubt, fear, or being
judged. Bind the spirit of doubt and hindrances in the
other person that is keeping them from receiving the
Word. Loose them to receive and pray for their heart
and faith.
4. LEARN TO STAND IN FAITH
Learn to stand and abide in faith. This is like
remaining in an upright position and being employed to
stand in position like a bodyguard. It is firm,
resolute, not bending, doubting, wavering, or fearing.
Your ability to stand on the Word of God is standing in
the gap for another person to be able to receive that
Word. If you are doubting your Word was accurate, then
it opens a door for the other person to waver and doubt
too.
James 1:6-8 NKJV
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he
who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed
by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will
receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded
man, unstable in all his ways.
5. Do not
give a Word unless you are sure
Prophesy according to your level of faith. If your
faith is not strong, then prophesy the Word of God via
scripture. Trust that the Holy Spirit will draw your
mind to the right scriptures.
Rom 12:6-7 NKJV
Having then gifts differing according to the grace
that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let
us prophesy in proportion to our faith;
You are the ambassador of that Word and need to keep
that Word entrusted into God’s care to fulfill it and
confirm it. Ask Him to confirm His Word with signs
following.
Mark 16:20 NKJV
And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord
working with them and confirming the word through the
accompanying signs. Amen.
6. LEAVE A BLESSING
After you have prayed over yourself and them and you are
standing in faith, remember that when we give our
blessing to someone, if it is not deserved it will
return to us. Expect to be blessed by having given a
blessing.
Matt 10:12-14 NKJV
And when you go into a household, greet it. If the
household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if
it is not worthy, let your peace return to you.
Prov 11:25
The generous will prosper; those who refresh others
will themselves be refreshed.
7. BE BOLD AND ASK
If you feel that a lack of confirmation is truly shaking
your faith and this has become a stumbling block to you,
then ADVANCE and take your ground. How? Be bold and
ask the person if what you shared was quickened to
them. It doesnt have to be at the time of the Word, it
can be a followup at a later time.
