WHEN YOU FACE A CLOSED DOOR 6/01/06
EXPERIENCE 6/01/06: Today I watched a scene on TV
where they had adopted a baby wild horse who had lost
his mother in a storm. They lived on a deserted island
which was a place to study the wildlife, and the pony
would push the door open to their dwelling place, and
just walk in and eat off the table! The boy was very
attached to this pony, but he knew they had to help the
pony be adopted into the herd of wild horses.
One scene made me cry. They tried everything they could
think of to entice the pony to be with the other horses.
Nothing worked. The little horse had bonded to the
people. Finally, they barricaded the door to their
dwelling place and the pony was trying to kick at the
door. I felt the pain of the boy's heart, knowing this
was the best thing he could do, to give his pony away to
the other horses. And the pain of silence surfaced in my
heart. I remembered a past intercession and Word He gave
me about the pain of silence. I felt that He had
something additional to say about this.
CONFIRMATION QUICKENED SONG: As I was pondering
this, a song came on to my IPOD from Mary's Lindlow's
CD:
“There is a time for everything. A time for silence.
There is a time to weep upon My throne. A time for you.
There is a time to cry. A time to die. There is a time
to hold out your joy to Me. There is a time to stay on
bended knee. There is a time for all things in Me. A
time to rejoice, a time to weep. There is a time for
season of rain, so harvest can come again and again...”
REVELATION: As I saw the look on the boy's face,
I saw how painful it was on him to remain silent and not
answer the door to the wild horse. I suddenly saw how
much pain the Lord feels over us, when He has blocked
the doors to us, of gaining comfort in places that are
not where He wants us to dwell. When He tells us “No”
and blocks our way, it is because He wants to move us
somewhere else. It hurts Him so much to know what we are
bonded to for comfort and survival, but there comes a
time when He places barriers and we are no longer
allowed and must move to the right place.
WORD TO PONDER: WHEN YOU FACE A CLOSED DOOR 6/01/06
How hard it is to close a door before you, My child,
when I know how much you are dependant upon what it
offers. I AM not the meanie that you suppose, but I feel
even the deeper pains that you aren't aware of inside of
you. I know every detail of who you are, and why you
cling to what you cling to, in order to survive.
Precious, I understand what you are bonded to. I allowed
this in your youth, but it's time for you to move into a
new place.
If you are suffering the pain of silence and closed
doors, it is blocked so that you will let the old
comforts go and move into your new place. I want you to
flourish and old comforts of the flesh are not where you
may dwell; you have outgrown them. I want you to bond in
a healthy manner, to a new way of living, thinking.
Partake of what is good, beneficial, edifying, fruitful,
lovely and dwell among these. Turn away and separate
yourself from old patterns of surviving stress. Turn
away and ask Me to renew your mind.
Rom 12:1-2 NKJV
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of
God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable
service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may
prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will
of God. |
