8/26/07 WHEN YOU HIT AN OBSTACLE
VISION: Today at church I received a Word from
the Lord. We were singing the following lyrics to the
song Majestic by Lincoln Brewster:
The heavens declare Your greatness
The oceans cry out to You
The mountains, they bow down before You
So I'll join with the earth and I'll give my praise to
You.
I saw an ocean wave as it was bowing over, and then at
the deepest trough, it burst forth in a crash, sending
particles of water upwards. As I was pondering the fact
that water is made up of moving molecules that
perpetually advance forward, He reminded me that He
created every living thing to praise Him and if we keep
silent, even the rocks will cry out to His Presence.
I saw the wonderful reality that many ocean waves are
divine gestures of worship. They crest up then bow over
and down before Him, and follow through by a burst of
praise. As I was pondering this, I heard Him say,
“Perfect Praise.” I wondered what that meant and asked
Him.
Then I saw another wave and this time as it bowed before
Him, it crashed full force into a large rock. He told
me that perfect praise is when we hit unmovable
obstacles and boundaries in our lives, if we first bow
down to Him and submit ourselves to His will in the
situation, and then we lift up our hearts in praise that
He is God and He puts all boundaries in our lives for a
purpose, that is perfect praise.
Ps 96:9 NKJV
Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble
before Him, all the earth.

PRAYER: Lord, You alone are God and we bow low
and submit ourselves totally and wholly to You. We
praise You that You delight in every detail of our lives
and even what was intended for our harm, You turn for
good. You are the Redeemer that redeems all for Your
good purposes, no matter what messes we face... no
matter what obstacle, and no matter how bad things
appear. We take this opportunity to bow before You and
honor your Sovereignty in our lives. Thank You for Your
goodness. Thank You for the obstacles and the
boundaries. Thank You for the reminder that the waves
in the ocean continue to praise You.
Luke 19:40 NKJV
But He answered and said to them, "I tell you that if
these should keep silent, the stones would immediately
cry out."
Ps 98:7-9 NKJV
Let the sea roar, and all its fullness, The world and
those who dwell in it; Let the rivers clap their hands;
Let the hills be joyful together before the LORD, For He
is coming to judge the earth. With righteousness He
shall judge the world, and the peoples with equity.
Ps 96:11-12 NKJV
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;
Let the sea roar, and all its fullness; Let the field be
joyful, and all that is in it. Then all the trees of
the woods will rejoice before the LORD.
CONFIRMATION
Grandma Anna 8/29/07: THE ROCKS MOVED!
ANNA DREAM: I was watching a narrow place in the
river gush over some huge black rocks. The water was
very clear and I could see all the way to the bottom of
the river. As I watched it, to my astonishment, the
rocks began to slowly creep forward. They gradually
increased their speed until finally they literally moved
right on down the river. The entire way was open again
and became wide and flowing down a gentle slope. |
