RHEMA 7/26/02:
Why are we
Sitting Here Until we Die?
[From meeting in Albany]
I had a totally awesome time at Bobby Conner meeting. He
confirmed so much, I was really encouraged. Here is some
of the things he shared:
God is not sending mighty mouse, He is sending weak
vessels with a limp! Not only that, but He is sending
the weakest like the 4 lepers (autoimmune disease) who
were losing their bodies, to leave the walls and go out
and get the food to break the famine and bring it back
to the people. AND after he mentioned all of this, a
friend leaned over and said to me, "One thing for sure,
we sure aint no Mighty Mouses!" And at that exact moment
he whirled around and pointed right at me, (3 rows back)
and I felt a blast come through his hand, and he said
very loudly with his finger still pointing, "TELL
THEM!!!!!!!"
He said God is not sending superstars, He is sending the
weak. He also mentioned about not being sucked dry this
time and he felt it was a sign of our maturity. These 2
were direct confirmations to my post this week about
getting our focus off the superstars.
His sermon was on the 4 lepers whose bodies were
decaying and they chose to leave the city walls to find
food. The Lord intervened on behalf of the famine and
they came back to the city and told people how to get
it.
It reminded me of those who have promises from the Lord
that they would be sent to lay hands on the sick when
they don't even have hands.
Bobby said that if you sit there and count your losses,
you will die, but if you move out and trust God for a
future and a hope, then you have one.
He said his football coach always said, “Bobby if you
are going to fall, fall forward, as eventually we will
get to the goal.” This was touching to me since Steve
had seen the football picture of my setting the football
and kicking it through the goalies.
2 Kings 7:3-11 NLT
Now there were four men with leprosy sitting at the
entrance of the city gates. "Why should we sit here
waiting to die ?" they asked each other. 4 "We will
starve if we stay here, and we will starve if we go back
into the city. So we might as well go out and surrender
to the Aramean army. If they let us live, so much the
better. But if they kill us, we would have died anyway."
5 So that evening they went out to the camp of the
Arameans, but no one was there! 6 For the Lord had
caused the whole army of Aram to hear the clatter of
speeding chariots and the galloping of horses and the
sounds of a great army approaching. "The king of Israel
has hired the Hittites and Egyptians to attack us!" they
cried out. 7 So they panicked and fled into the night,
abandoning their tents, horses, donkeys, and everything
else, and they fled for their lives.
8 When the lepers arrived at the edge of the camp,
they went into one tent after another, eating, drinking
wine, and carrying out silver and gold and clothing and
hiding it. 9 Finally, they said to each other, "This is
not right. This is wonderful news, and we aren't sharing
it with anyone! If we wait until morning, some terrible
calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let's go
back and tell the people at the palace."
10 So they went back to the city and told the
gatekeepers what had happened - that they had gone out
to the Aramean camp and no one was there! The horses and
donkeys were tethered and the tents were all in order,
but there was not a single person around. 11 Then the
gatekeepers shouted the news to the people in the
palace.
hEALED AS YOU
GO
I am reminded of the scripture where they were healed
as they went.
Luke 17:14-19 AMP
And when He saw them, He said to them, Go [at once]
and show yourselves to the priests. And as they went,
they were cured and made clean. [Lev 14:2-32.] 15
Then one of them, upon seeing that he was cured, turned
back, recognizing and thanking and praising God with a
loud voice; 16 And he fell prostrate at Jesus' feet,
thanking Him [over and over]. And he was a Samaritan.
17 Then Jesus asked, Were not [all] ten cleansed? Where
are the nine? 18 Was there no one found to return and
to recognize and give thanks and praise to God except
this alien? 19 And He said to him, Get up and go on
your way. Your faith (your trust and confidence that
spring from your belief in God) has restored you to
health.
RHEMA 5/9/02 WASHING AND HEALED AS YOU GO
PIX: I saw a pipe and something whooshing
down.
HEARD: I would like to highlight the way you
look. It's a washing of your old nature. Fallen. Store
front. Divine nature.
Could I tell you something? It's not enough. Yes it
is. You need more grace. Give it to Me says the Lord.
And I will fix your cracks. Without fault. Quickly,
quickly rise to the occasion. How about one step at a
time? As you go.
HEARD: The body of Christ is hurting.
PIX: I saw a lady angel that was smiling with
eyes twinkling. She was in JC Penny's and dressed in a
leopard's skin coat and hat.
JC = for Jesus Christ
Pennys = for sent one
Leopard = spots and wrinkles
Women's clothing = women endument
HEARD: That's where her spots have taken her.
To JC Penny's clothing store. From your side, such a
disappointment and failure. That's not what I see.
PIX: I saw someone carting a huge box on a
dolly.
HEARD; Overload. Spanned through the
mountains. I will lift you and call you by My Name for I
have not forgotten you.
QUICKENED EYE GLANCE: Today at Mr K's my eyes
landed on a big red sign that said, “STAIRS.” On the way
home my eyes landed on 555.
That's triple grace!
WORD TO PONDER WASHED TO REFLECT HIS GLORY 5/9/02
As you gaze into the mirror, you understand the need for
My having to tightly reign you in. You see and feel as
though you could use a new store front, for it is sadly
lacking in appearance. Have patience, for I will fix
your cracks a step at a time as you go. And the spots
will leave as I wash your fallen nature.
I have not forgotten you. You shall span the mountain
before you as I lift you up. You think that you need
more grace to overcome, but I say I have given you
enough. “Grace, grace, grace” I speak to the mountain in
your life and it shall become history in no time at all.
“And all of us have had that veil removed so that we
can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the
Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we
become more and more like him and reflect his glory even
more.” (2 Cor 3:18 NLT)
RHEMA 3/28/02 HIS CHARIOT
HEARD [at Walmart]: I am moving you to a
better place. Not by might, nor by power, but by My
Spirit.
Annies Visions Book 3 page 55
HIS CHARIOT
"Today I was terribly nervous because I was scheduled
to take the whole evening chapel service and I was
pretty afraid. In prayer I was given to intercede for
the people in strong cryings. After a while He took me
away unto Himself and showed me how He sent a special
force - As it were a chariot = to bring man unto
Himself. This forced He used to bring ALL of His own
ever near and closer to Himself. This chariot was not
made of but of special forced which were tribulations,
trials, pains and sufferings.
The Lord, Himself, was occupied with placing or
withdrawing of these forces and His purpose was to bring
His own unto Himself in order that He might reveal
Himself and allow His Word concerning Himself and His
being to shine forth to them. These forces came into
operation by His Word alone. He did not allow any other,
not even the people themselves, this responsibility. He
alone ordained and sent forth these forces which like
homing chariots would ever draw and bring His own ones
ever nearer unto Himself.
Nor would He permit anyone else to withdraw these
forces until they had done their good work. Before His
set time no one was allowed to touch them, for they must
accomplish that for which they were sent forth and must
not cease until the chariot returned to His very doors.
Whether it be pain or sufferings, problems or dark
clouds, trials, or persecutions or any other force of
tribulation, all were sent forth from Him. And He was
quite ready and willing to send forth even more, and one
after another, in order to be certain that His people
should reach Him.
As they reached Him, they must then be separated from
that force and trial. They must no longer abide in His
chariot but alight from it and come into His house, as
it were. Although He had no pleasure in sending forth
these forces, He took great pleasure in bringing His own
ones unto Himself.
Nevertheless, He did not desire them to stop in the
way and begin to behold the chariot. They must not
look at the pressures He was using, for to do so would
result in the delaying in the journey. These forces
would do their work effectively and certainly, but His
people must keep on traveling forward, ever keeping
their eyes upon Him and upon their destination and
not on the forces He was using.
The Lord concerned Himself with the withdrawing of
these forces at the right moment when the chariot of the
forces of tribulation would be dismissed having
fulfilled its task and having brought His own to the
place He desired."
