RHEMA 1/21/13 A TREASURE HUNT FOR WISDOM
EXPERIENCE: Today I was wondering why the Lord
didn’t just tell us what to do when we need to make
decisions. It would be so much simpler!
HEARD: If any of you lack wisdom let him ask
of God.
James 1
But let patience have its perfect work, that you may
be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 5 If any of
you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all
liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to
him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for
he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and
tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that
he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a
double- minded man, unstable in all his ways.
I was inspired when I looked up the word wisdom. It
means that we use our intellect to gain knowledge and
experience and then sum it up with proverbs and sayings
(maxims).
WISDOM GREEK
g4678. σοφία sophia; from 4680; wisdom (higher or lower,
worldly or spiritual): — wisdom.

learning the act of interpreting dreams and always
giving the sagest advice the intelligence evinced in
discovering the meaning of some mysterious number or

Christ, skill and discretion in imparting Christian
truth the knowledge and practice of the requisites for

Proverbs 1
The proverbs of Solomon the son of David, king of
Israel: 2 To know wisdom and instruction, To perceive
the words of understanding, 3 To receive the instruction
of wisdom, Justice, judgment, and equity; 4 To give
prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and
discretion — 5 A wise man will hear and increase
learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise
counsel, 6 To understand a proverb and an enigma, The
words of the wise and their riddles. 7 The fear of the
Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise
wisdom and instruction.

REVELATION: Today I was thinking that He said He
would lead (or show) us in the way we should go. But I
don’t remember any place where He promised to tell us
the way (outside of scripture). He IS the way, and so
we simply follow Him.
Psa 27:11 Teach me Your way, O Lord, and lead me in a
smooth path, because of my enemies.
REVELATION: So often when I want to understand
an area of health better, I look it up on the www as a
source of knowledge. I try to make educated and wise
decisions after praying over things. And when I am
making decisions in life, while I am praying, I gain
wisdom and experience from others in the same field.
Today I pondered about wisdom and the fact that so often
He leads us that way instead of just outright telling us
what to do. I really wanted to know why!
I suddenly realized the accountability and ramification
of being told by the Lord what to do, and then
deliberately defying that and choosing another way. He
leads us by wisdom so that we grow up and mature into
making wise decisions. It is His process and a safer
one than just having obedient puppet children. He is
after all, raising us to be rulers which will require a
LOT of decisions.
Luke 7:35
But wisdom is justified by all her children.
1/23/13 TO BE LED BY WISDOM IS SAFER THAN SAYING NO
TO GOD
HEARD:
Hit it right on the mark. If you need assurance for
personal faith. Come My daughter I will show you.
(I just noticed He said “show” you and not “tell” you.)
HEARD:
About the wisdom. Mystery glitches and errors.
Regardless, wisdom is safer. To say no is a tragedy.
You understand this.
[About mystery glitches and errors. When I am learning
new software, I test something and if it doesn’t work, I
try the process another way. I keep trying until I find
the way!]
1/17/13 SEARCHING FOR WISDOM
HEARD: Where is your treasure? Map, a
treasure hunt. Smile. The road less traveled.
PIX:
I saw a path where there was a fork in the road
up ahead.
HEARD: Which way? Follow the sun/Son.
PIX:
I saw a
way in the clearing, a path of light.
IMPRESSION: Although it wasn’t a vision, I had
the impression of a break in the forest up ahead and
there was light in clearing with a lovely meadow to the
right. I could clearly see it in the eyes of my heart.
HEARD: It’s there, meadow. What you
perceive, in heaven there are many treasures like this.
Created just for you to find.
PIX:
I saw a blade of grass that had grown up taller
than the others in the meadow, so it would show itself
to me. In the middle there was a diamond in the shape of
an eye and it was glistening in the sun.
HEARD: Look through it, I will magnify My
focus. The spotlight of My Word. What is happening?
Many facets. Many colors. What is your color for
today? Smile. Each day I give you daily bread.
PIX:
I saw the color red.
HEARD: Wisdom. Humble yourself before your
God and He shall raise you up.
CONFIRMATION: (I had had the impression of a
break in the forest up ahead and there was light in
clearing with a lovely meadow.) When I got up from
listening to the Lord, I went to Facebook and found what
Hermie had posted! She posted this one hour ago, the
same time I was laying down to hear Him.
The Lord is
good to those whose hope is in Him, to those who seek
Him (Lam. 3:25).
WORD TO PONDER: WISDOM, MY TREASURE HUNT FOR MAKING
DECISIONS 1/21/13
Often when you are in need of direction and need to make
a decision, I would rather teach you how to make a wise
decision, than tell you the decision. I want to show
you the way more than tell you the way. When you need
answers, simply ask Me and I will lay out a treasure map
before you. Along the path I will clearly spotlight
truths, experiences and knowledge and as you bring these
quickened morsels to Me, I will give you My discerning
eye to view them. As you humble yourself before Me, I
will raise you up into My wise child!
Luke 7:35
But wisdom is justified by all her children.
Prov 2:6-8
For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come
knowledge and understanding; 7 He stores up sound wisdom
for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk
uprightly; 8 He guards the paths of justice, And
preserves the way of His saints.
Prov 1:2-7
To know wisdom and instruction, To perceive the words
of understanding, 3 To receive the instruction of
wisdom, Justice, judgment, and equity; 4 To give
prudence to the simple, To the young man knowledge and
discretion — 5 A wise man will hear and increase
learning, And a man of understanding will attain wise
counsel, 6 To understand a proverb and an enigma, The
words of the wise and their riddles. 7 The fear of the
Lord is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise
wisdom and instruction.
ABOUT WISDOM AND SPEAKING UNDER THE SURFACE
Math 13:10
And the disciples came and said to Him, " Why do You
speak to them in parables?" 11 He answered and said to
them, " Because it has been given to you to know the
mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has
not been given.
TO KNOW
g1097. γινώσκω ginōskō; a prolonged form of a primary
verb; to "know" (absolutely) in a great variety of
applications and with many implications (as follow, with
others not thus clearly expressed): — allow, be aware
(of), feel, (have) know (- ledge), perceived, be
resolved, can speak, be sure, understand.
AV (223)- know 196, perceive 9, understand 8, misc 10;
to learn to know, come to know, get a knowledge of
perceive, feel to become known to know, understand,
perceive, have knowledge of to understand to know Jewish
idiom for sexual intercourse between a man and a woman
to become acquainted with, to know
Matt 34
All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in
parables; and without a parable He did not speak to
them, 35 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken
by the prophet, saying: "I will open My mouth in
parables; I will utter things kept secret from the
foundation of the world."
QUOTE NEVILLE JOHNSON: He hides truth FOR us so
we can find it, search for it, dig it up. Layers and
layers. They are kept for us like time capsules for
further understanding to be unfolded.
PARABLE: I was watching a documentary on Modern
Marvels of how they build yachts. The engineer was
sitting in front of his computer showing the 3-D
infrastructural bones of the ship. He circled around a
tiny spot and showed how each part of the ship was a
separate layer in his software that he could work on,
print out and send to a particular specialist to build.
It was such a great model to me of how revelation works
layer by layer.
The Lord can spotlight one part of a whole, and go
through several layers, each one helping us see how it
fits with the parts around it. He speaks to us in parts
and pieces and there are many reasons for this.
1. So that we will seek Him.
2. So that He can draw us to Him, like a spoon fed
baby.
3. So that our appetite for Him increases.
4. So that we will learn to be dependent upon Him when
applying His Words.
5. So that we will learn not to be presumptuous.
6. So that we will learn how to be teachable.
7. So that we will learn humility.
8. So that we will grow in the knowledge of Him.
9. So that we will grow in faith.
10. So that we grow to love Him more.
11. So that we enjoy communion with Him.
1 Cor 2:6-16
However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature,
yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of
this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the
wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God
ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of
the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they
would not have crucified the Lord of glory. 9 But as it
is written: " Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have
entered into the heart of man The things which God has
prepared for those who love Him."
10 But God has revealed them to us through His
Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the
deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of
a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even
so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of
God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the
world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might
know the things that have been freely given to us by
God.
13 These things we also speak, not in words which
man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches,
comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the
natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of
God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know
them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he
who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is
rightly judged by no one. 16 For " who has known the
mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?" But we have
the mind of Christ.
Jer 29:13
And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for
Me with all your heart.
Luke 10:21 NKJV
“I thank You, Father,
Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these
things from the wise and prudent and revealed
them to babes.”
UPDATE 1/31/13 (As I was meditating on unfolding
wisdom and revelation)
PIX:
I saw a wooden wheel barrow that was for an old
fashioned garden.
HEARD:
Dig. Mystery. Gem stone.
PIX:
I saw some turnaround blocks that are mounted in
playgrounds. They had the ABCs on them, and the children
spin them around into place.
HEARD:
Porthole.
The ABC blocks are like little doors that reveal their
face and what is written on them, as they turn around
into place. The door is Jesus and we come in and out
and find green pasture.
Revelation is hide and seek. The wisdom of the ages is
inside of us. Jesus visited and then disappeared and
they were left with the revelation that they just had a
visitation. That is the same with angelic visitations.
God was there and suddenly you knew it. (Jacob at
Peniel, Jesus on the road to Emmaus, Peter and fish on
the other side of the boat.)
On the other side of the door or porthole is Wisdom
waiting to be revealed, its face manifest. Knowing
wisdom is an experience of knowing the Lord.
