7/20/19 WISDOM IN BEING A DELIVERER
HEARD: I’m going in. Is that wise? Well I cant
sit here and do nothing. What you are called to do?
Deliverer.
This was an interesting Word shining a spotlight on the idea
that the nature of a deliverer is to rush in irregardless of
the danger to self. I have been listening to videos on
caretaking and so many different sources quote the idea that
when in a plane crash, the parent is supposed to attach
their oxygen bag first before they help the child. The
rescuer needs to be of sound mind in order to help.
KNOWING YOUR BOUNDARIES
The other thought is that it is presumptuous to jump in
where angels fear to tread. It is important to know and
heed the boundaries God has set for us.
Jude 9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with
the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not
bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord
rebuke thee.
WORD TO PONDER: WISDOM IN RESCUING OTHERS 7/20/19
Precious ones, when you feel the pressure of ministering to
cries for help, it is really important that you know and
understand your boundaries. You are no good to others if
your own life is falling apart. First find My purpose for
you in each season of your life and then do everything you
can to protect that purpose. Next when you hear the cry of
another, give out of your overflow of your life in Me as I
give you grace. In that wisdom, you will not run on fumes
because you spent everything you had for your last tank of
gas.
Yes there are specific issues like when the widow and son
gave their last meal to Elijah. However this was because it
was My plan to save. I not only planned the deliverance,
but also sustained it supernaturally. Please do not rush
into delivering others long term without taking everything
to prayer and praying until you find the RIGHT way out.
Always consider the cost dear ones and I will give you
wisdom.
1 Kings 17:9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which [belongeth]
to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow
woman there to sustain thee.
