7/23/19 WISDOM IN BEING A "PRODUCER"

The following quote really ministered to me about the importance of balancing work and play.

“As an only child you could say I am now an expert at keeping myself busy.  But I learned quickly that not all business is good my for mental well being.  We often keep ourselves busy for fear of loneliness or irrelevance if we stop to please other people. But it is worth it to know that you don’t have to be productive all the time, you can just do things because you enjoy them.  I am preaching to myself when I say Not every moment needs to be captured, not every project needs to make money.  Sometimes it is more productive to have engaged in hobbies that benefit your mind, not your wallet or your prestige.  Because when you mind is nourished, it gets the change to be healed.

I used to put my worth in my work because my identity was so closely tied to how much I performed and how much I produced I felt worthless when I couldnt meet expectations.  You are worthy, accepted and loved regardless of what you do or don’t do.  Your value as a human being is not tied to what you produce.  In the same way that you would give value to your masterpiece, God gives value to you.  Your value is determined by no one else but your Creator.  And He has deemed you as infinite worthy.  … Only when you have a full tank can you consistently, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.  All the fruits of a well watered life.”

Today God took me unto Himself and showed me a strange yet most desirable place in Him and His dealings - a place of great rigor, without any mitigating or softening features such as sweetness or tenderness. This special place was most productive for the man who was taken into it, for such rigors brought forth tremendous spiritual glory.

5/15/19  THIS SEASON IS NOT ABOUT PRODUCING

Your wings of faith are strong.  It’s not about producing.  Do you understand?  Simply wait upon Me.  Recompense.  Reward.  We talked about this.  Safe journey sweet one.

PRODUCING WHILE YOU WAIT  5/15/19

Dear one, you have had many seasons in the past where you were very productive.  I sent you in those seasons to do many tasks for Me.  Much was accomplished and you have a very prosperous harvest coming!  I know it is hard for you to wait, but I AM not asking you to produce this season.  I AM asking you to wait upon Me.  As you settle into Me and seek My face, I will comfort you, feed you, encourage you and strengthen you once again.  Rest dear one and wait upon Me.  You are fully equipped to do all that I have asked you to do.  What you don’t realize is that you ARE producing while you wait.  You are keeping your nest of eggspectations warm and protected.  When they incubate and come forth, wow will you be astonished!  Wait dear one, wait.

Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

WORD TO PONDER:  FAITH PRODUCES WORKS 6/09/06

When John was sent to prepare the way before me, the people asked, “What shall we do then?”  And the tax collectors said, “What shall we do?”  Then the soldiers asked, “What shall we do?”

When I came, I was asked, “What shall we do then that we shall work the works of God?”  And I said, “This is the work of God that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

In the productive mind-set of the world, one must “do” something in order to earn one’s way.  With such thinking the world tries to earn faith through works.  However, to produce in My kingdom is the way to SHOW your faith THROUGH your deeds.  What you produce does not earn you favor, gifts, promotion, or spiritual kudos.  It is your faith, your leaning heavily upon Me, trusting Me to do the works in and through you that brings eternal rewards.

Both faith and productivity partner together.  But to “do” them for the wrong reasons, or in the wrong focus is thinking like the world, which is the mind-set to earn one’s way.  My way is grace and always will be grace.  You cling to your Source and we will partner together to produce the works of God.

Dearest, you are totally accepted and approved by Me because of your precious faith, which has been tried like gold.  Thank you,  for your trust and all your labors because you trust in Me to accomplish them.

Joh 6:27-29 NKJV Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him."  Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?"  Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."
