RHEMA 10/12/12:  THE WISHING WELL 

PIX:  I saw a wishing well.

VISION:  I saw a gentle deer come over and look down into the well.

HEARD SONG:  As the deer pants for the waters so my soul longs after You.

BUZZ WORDS:  Wishing.  Panting.  Longing.

SCRIPTURE:  As I pondered the deer peering longingly down into the well, the following verse came to mind: "Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water?

John 4:10-14 NKJV

Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."  11 The woman said to Him, "Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?"  13 Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,  14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."

John 4:21-24  NKJV

Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.  22 You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.  23 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.  24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."

HEARD:  I will welcome you always. 

INTERP:  No matter what the world does to close our access, we will always have access to the Lord and He will grant us a way through.

CONFIRMATION WAYNE 10/13/12

SAW:  I saw someone was digging a well with a backhoe.  It was about 6 foot square and about 6 foot deep half full of water. I saw Jesus walk by me and climb down in the hole and get a hand full of dirt out of the side of the hole. Jesus came back up and made a ball out of the dirt and put it next to a stake on the ground, as though He was going to make something out of it.

COMMENT:  The Lord has been quickening the following passage to me for a couple months.  There are seasons in our life where we just have to contend for our spiritual wells, to keep them clean and keep them flowing.  PRIME YOUR PUMPS AND DRAW UPON HIM.

Gen 26:14-22 NLT
"Soon the Philistines became jealous of him, and they filled up all of Isaac's wells with earth. These were the wells that had been dug by the servants of his father, Abraham. And Abimelech asked Isaac to leave the country. "Go somewhere else," he said, "for you have become too rich and powerful for us." So Isaac moved to the Gerar Valley and lived there instead. He reopened the wells his father had dug, which the Philistines had filled in after Abraham's death. Isaac renamed them, using the names Abraham had given them. His shepherds also dug in the Gerar Valley and found a gushing spring. But then the local shepherds came and claimed the spring. "This is our water," they said, and they argued over it with Isaac's herdsmen. So Isaac named the well "Argument," because they had argued about it with him. Isaac's men then dug another well, but again there was a fight over it. So Isaac named it "Opposition." Abandoning that one, he dug another well, and the local people finally left him alone. So Isaac called it "Room Enough," for he said, "At last the LORD has made room for us, and we will be able to thrive."

CONTEND FOR YOUR WELL 12/03/02

The enemy is desiring to dry up your spiritual hearing.  Like the enemies of old, he is wanting to pour dirt into your well to pollute your spiritual waters and also dry them up.  Rebuke the devourer and do not grow apathetic in your walk with Me.  Continue to dig your own well in Me by stirring up your gifts, praying in the Spirit continuously and seeking My face.  Protect yourself from the devourer’s snares by walking away from the world, its pleasures and carnality.

TO BECOME A SIGN  5/16/04

There are many facets to becoming a sign, however it begins with My drawing power.  I draw you, you draw from Me and others draw from Me through you.

As you draw from My deepest anointed wells, you tap into My surging spring that is deep underground.  The deeper you draw from Me, the more you will experience this powerful flow.  You will find that the deeper you draw from My well, the more powerful will be your stream.  It is there that we become one as you find your very Source of existence in Me.  As you learn to abide in this secret place, deeply submerged below the public’s eye, you become My sign to those who are thirsty.  When they draw from your well, it brings the surge of My anointing to your surface.  Bubbling up and overflowing, My Word comes forth from you for the thirsty ones.

John 6:44 NKJV

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him.

John 4:10-12 NKJV

ASSESS YOUR WELL  9/09/05

Dear ones, how I have wept over your pain as you have sought Me to keep your wells primed and pouring with abundance. You have continued to dig against great resistance of jealousy, rejection, opposition, and argument. Some of you have held onto old wells, yielding yourselves with great sacrifices of commitment by laying down your lives for love. Many have yielded so much, only to see the sacrifices burn with nothing left. Oh beloved, nothing has escaped My eye or My heart. I have suffered every portion of this with you.

It is time to assess your wells and make your choice. Do you indeed have "room enough" to contain all that I have promised? I have been preparing a move that is intended to fill your life to the brim and overflowing. Many of you must move and change locations in order to re-dig your well. You must take the leap of faith and follow My Presence. My Presence will lead you, and My Presence will keep you planted in this new place. Yes, it takes courage to move and when you move it alters and displaces the lives around you. And when you land, others will adjust to make room for you. If you follow My Presence as your peace and barometer in this move, you will indeed find room enough to grow and prosper and be in good health.

And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name Rehoboth, because he said, "For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land."

QUICKENED WORD PUN:  Wishing well.

There are many who are wishing they would be well.  Wisdom is saying to dig a well, by drawing upon Him, deeper and deeper.  Contend for it and dig.
