WORD PUNS, OUTSIDE THE BOX 5/01/09
PIX: I saw all these different pieces of
material being sewn together.
HEARD: It’s like putting together a jigsaw
puzzle.
HEARD: Solve a riddle. The word bun was
true. Every bit of it, all interpretations. .
COMMENTS: Nope, that “word bun” wasn’t a typo.
I love His sense of humor in using puns! “Word bun”
comes from a quickened sign I saw in 2003 when driving
north for a conference. I think it was a fast taco
place, and it had a picture of a taco on it and said, “Think
outside the bun!” It was the restaurant’s comments
about their competition’s hamburgers. Smile!
He is encouraging our class discussions for all our work
on interpreting word puns! Enclosed is the Word to
Ponder based on the rhema I had that day when I saw the
taco sign:
WORD TO PONDER FAITHFUL COOKS 10/16/03
All those cooks in the back room. Something smells
good! I see you faithfully gathering what I send. I
see your hot forehead as it incubates in the oven. I
see you groaning as you lift the pots heavy and
swollen. Week after week you produce with perfection.
Week after week you package delicious food, as you pave
the way by strengthening others. Thank you faithful
cooks! As you have abided in Me and I in you, we have
fed nations, one mouthful at a time.
Jer 3:15 NKJV
And I will give you shepherds according to My heart,
who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.
