VALUABLE WORDS ON THE GO  2/03/11

VISION:  I saw a long phone cord and its phone being connected to my steering wheel in the car.  Then I saw a thinner cord being set up in the passenger side for the cell phone.  The first was a land line phone and the second was satellite phone connected to the car battery.

Matt 6:10

Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," Whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.

UPDATE NOTE:  On a clear day, our electricity went out for about 30 minutes during lunch.  Not knowing if this was an emergency, one of things we were trying to rethink was our backup batteries that hold about 30 minutes of backup power and how to use those the most wisely.  I was thinking how my cell phone and iTouch could run on the car battery, which was a relief since our cordless house phones did not work.

Perhaps these cords in the vision represent being connected to a backup source (my relationship with the Lord) that will give me His Word regardless of being provided for elsewhere.  In a sense they also represent a Word for on-the-go, or on-the-run, a NOW Word. 

HEARD:  Step by step you bring it all together.  Even more beautiful. 

PIX:  I saw this small diamond studded purse with a silver chain on it.

INTERPRETATION:  I have pondered this small purse, it was very expensive and completely covered in diamonds.  That could be the precious new phone lines connected in my car!  On the go Words that are not necessarily recorded, but have immediate intimate relationship.  It reminds me of the evening gown purses we used to carry on prom night.  Very small but enough room to carry chapstick, hanky and comb.  You could hold it in your hand or wrist (while dancing with the King).

I think that this purse represents carrying the Word of the Lord on-the-go.  The most vital Word for the moment... simple and easy to retrieve and grasp (understand.)  Very costly, as in the huge plethora of sorted items to get to the most important and vital one that matters today. 

I know a person who always wants me to share the Twitter version of the Word of the Lord.  I get many praises when something is condensed down to the clear Word that is easy to understand and apply and use.  This same person has said, count each word and make each word count and wants one paragraph or less.  Sigh!  This is very frustrating and hard to do because I love details and dont want even one precious morsel to be missed.  Every day is filled with God's loving care over details and I dont want even one detail lost.  However the world is filled with bottom line people who dont have time to smell the flowers and they need the Word of the Lord too.  It is those that the Lord is wanting me to learn how to communicate with. 

One day as I was praying over this, I heard the Lord say, "What about the Toddlers?"  I realized that they have very short attention spans and they would get bored with too many details and the need to draw them all together into one simple thought.  Sometimes all they can handle is just the punch line.  And so I continue to try to condense and make things shorter and simpler.

PRAYER:  Lord we ask for a new relationship with You where we can hear Your voice all the time, "on-the-go" and have our desired intimacy with You, no matter where we are.  We understand that Your Words are like diamonds that are so valuable, priceless and rare.  We want to hear Your clear, simple Word that impacts lives with Your personal and deepest love over them.  Lord we want to dance with You and carry Your rich Words with us always, in Jesus Name!
