Although many changes are taking place in the world that are
unsettling for those who do not know the Lord, for those who
do know Him, this new Hebraic year of 5776 will be an
assuring year in our relationships with Him!
We are still in the decade of increased vision, perception
and the opening of the eye as in portholes to see, (#70).
This year we add the #6 to the #70 to make 76. The Hebrew
letter for #6 is Vav. It means a nail or a peg.
Immediately as I pondered this, the Lord brought to mind
this scripture which I believe is a key foundation scripture
for this new year:
Isaiah 22:23 And I will fasten him as a peg in a sure
place; and he shall become a glorious throne to his father's
house.

This year is the year of being driven as a nail or peg in a
sure place. Here are the parables of what a nail or a peg
means to us for this year:
TO PIVOT
·
A peg can connect a hinge on a door. A peg in a hinge
would be like a pivotal key that brings a change of
direction. That type of pivotal bolt can be repentance,
truth, conviction, enlightenment, coming to one’s
senses, righteousness/ right choices. Each of these can
bring a change or direction. This will be a pivotal
year of changes in direction.
Job 37:12-13 And it is turned around by his guidance:
that they may do whatsoever he commands them upon the face
of the whole earth. 13 He causes it to come, whether for
correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
TO CONNECT
·
A peg can connect pieces together. He will be giving us
key pieces of revelation that have been missing so that
we will finally understand things He has already said,
but we did not understand. This will allow His personal
Words to us to come alive, make sense and find their
niche! It is like a peg that has searched and finally
found its matching hole.
Psalm 119:130 The entrance of your words gives light; it
gives understanding unto the simple.
TO CLAIM TERRITORY

A peg can be a stake in the ground to claim territory.
This has to do with proclaiming and walking within our
boundaries. There are many types of boundaries that
have worn away and have been compromised in the church,
government, and individual lives. The Lord is going to
reaffirm exactly what our boundaries are so that we may
dwell in safety. I am remembering the cliché,
possession is 9/10s of the law.
Proverbs 22:28 Remove not the ancient landmark, which
your fathers have set.
TO SECURE SO NOT MOVED

A peg can secure things so they are not shaken, don’t
fall or separate. The cubicles that I have for my
scrapbooking papers are stacked one on top of the other
and they are connected with little pegs, so they stay
aligned. The Lord will be giving us connections in the
spirit realm with those whom we are supposed to stay
connected with. I have heard Him say “There is safety
in numbers.” We were not meant to be lone rangers, but
connect with others whom He has purposed according to
His plan. He has made it that as His body, we truly
need one another.
Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body being fitly
joined together and knit together by that which every joint
supplies, according to the effectual working in the measure
of every part, makes increase of the body unto the edifying
of itself in love.
TO ATTACH TO THE ROCK OF JESUS

A peg is what you grab onto for rock climbing. It is to
climb higher. That peg would represent hope and
promises. We hang onto His Word and that secures us as
we reach higher. I am remembering the kid’s Radical
Rock climbing game they recently played at our house!
Psalm 78:35 And they remembered that God was their rock,
and the high God their redeemer.
TO SECURE OUR TENTS/ RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

A peg can be a stake in the ground that means you are
established and settled. This comes from being
confirmed you are hearing from God and walking with
Him. This will be a time where He will be bringing
wonderful confirmations to us to show us that we have
been hearing Him and He is confirming our direction and
path.
Psalm 119:106 I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I
will keep your righteous judgments.

Most of all this confirmation will be like pegs that
hold a tent in place. That tent is our tabernacle, our
intimate dwelling place with Him where we abide with Him
and He abides with us. He will validate our
relationship with Him and we will find much greater
peace and assurance in an unsettled world. PRAISE HIM!
Ezra 9:8 And now for a little space grace hath been [shewed]
from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and
to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may
lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our
bondage.
TO MAKE BOND SERVANTS

Another application of a peg is an awl. A couple of
days ago I had a vision of 2 black dots being drawn upon
an ear. Then I saw a person’s feet planted on the floor
of an airplane. I immediately recognized that just like
one would do to pierce an ear, they mark the place with
a dot. In the days of scripture, a bond servant was
known by a pierced ear and they used an awl to drive it
through the ear. 2 dots represents a double portion of
hearing and intimacy with the Lord for those who are
sold out to Him and His bond servants. I am remembering
Neville Johnson’s vision
where he was taken to an airport to be transported back
and forth between earth and heaven. And the angel told
him that passport through that porthole was a hole in
his ear; to be His bondservant.
HEARD:
Prophetic. These are all true sweet one. Just as
you said. Make bold statements.
VISION:
I saw a little boy about one year old and he was
using a hammer and a nail.
WORD TO PONDER: DRIVING MY POINT HOME 9/07/15
Dear ones, a new year is upon you. This year I will be
driving My Words, My purposes, My plans deeply into your
life. I will bring correction and change in areas that need
a change of direction and then I will establish your life in
Me so that you will never again be moved off your
foundations. I will bolt your lives down deeply into the
foundations of My Words over you. I will make My point very
clear and bring you all the confirmations you need so that
your faith will be established in your walk with Me. I will
connect you with My people and My Word. I will secure you
so that you will not be moved. I will establish and protect
your boundaries. I will give you hope for your future. I
will plant your relationship with Me, deep into the solid
rock.
For those who will consecrate themselves totally unto Me, I
will receive you as bondservants. You shall escape the
shakings of the world and instead enter into the depths of
My holy place and be radically shaken by My power coming
upon you. This will revive you, recover you and quicken you
with My life.
