Young Prophets
5/20/00: REVELATION OF THE VIRGIN PROPHET &
MENTORING:
Today as I was listening to scripture on the Bible tape,
the following passage jumped out to me as a prophetic
parable. The colt that has never been ridden reminds me
of the young virgin prophet who has received a wonderful
vision or revelation from the Lord, and the Lord rides
the virgin in honor, in view of the crowds.
The young one is innocent and does not know the pain of
rejection or any of the mishaps in coming into the
prophetic giftings. We need to mentor younger ones so
they are protected and not abused by the system, taken
advantage of or promoted outside of their metron before
their time.
Mark 11:2-3 2 "Go into that village over there," he
told them, "and as soon as you enter it, you will see a
colt tied there that has never been ridden. Untie it and
bring it here. 3 If anyone asks what you are doing, just
say, `The Lord needs it and will return it soon.' NLT
Zech 9:9-10 9 Rejoice greatly, O people of Zion! Shout
in triumph, O people of Jerusalem! Look, your king is
coming to you. He is righteous and victorious, yet he is
humble, riding on a donkey--even on a donkey's colt. NLT
