WORD TO PONDER:  YOUR FACE AND MY FACE  4/23/09

Sweetheart, I have seen your downcast eyes for too long.  Lift your face and gaze into My eyes and see the reflection of the radiant love I have for you.  If you could see My face, you would never doubt again the truth of how much I love you and accept you even when transforming you as My beloved bride.

When I reveal the face of truth and you wince back waiting to face the music, My heart is never in accusation or blame.  If you could but gaze into My eyes you would understand that what I share is always from My deep love for you.  I AM not mad at you, I AM not correcting you in chastisement, and I AM not spanking you.  I want to guide you with My loving gaze and lead you in the way you should go.  How can I, when your eyes are downcast and you wince away? 

Seek My face, which will reveal My deepest love for you, and then you will never again look away in condemnation, shame, self guilt, flagellation, self rejection, regret, remorse, sorrow and blame.  When you truly understand what is written upon My face, your own face will be a radiant reflection of how much I love you.  Come My bride and let me kiss your wet cheeks.  Let Me love you with My fullest acceptance of who you are to Me.  Face to face, total acceptance, let us be One in reciprocal love.

For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

And all of us have had that veil removed so that we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him and reflect his glory even more.
