TIME TO
RECHARGE THE BATTERIES
[Poured
Out in Ministry]
============
EXPERIENCE 3/09/04: I had just been thinking about the
PonderWord that went out on yesterday's post, "Time to
Recharge Your Batteries."
QUICKENED EYE GLANCE: As I was pondering that Word
(while on errands), my eye suddenly glanced to a sign
that read: "Interstate Batteries Sold Here."
FUNNY
EXPERIENCE: We have now pulled into the store called
Batteries Plus. This was not the same place as the above
glance and I realized the Lord is confirming His parable
about batteries. While I am waiting for Wayne, I am
humored at what has just taken place. There are 2 trucks
in the lot next to our car. One guy is hooking up to a
fellow's truck. As he walks over to hook up the cables
to the disabled truck, the fellow cringes and jumps out
of the way. He obviously had tried to hook up cables
before and experienced all the sparks flying when
plugged in the wrong direction!

DRAINED
IN MINISTRY - Time to Recharge
QUICKENED WORD PUN 11/9/03: After totally spending
myself beyond my physical limits in a ministry
situation, I was sitting in a car waiting for my ride to
the train station. I was feeling totally wiped out and
asked the Lord to recharge my batteries. I turned on my
PC to find a PonderWord and a sign came up that said the
battery was low and needed recharging. I chuckled at
this quickened Word pun from the Lord!
I
decided I needed a Word to Ponder so bad that it was
worth getting the charger out and hooking up. I had been
thinking about His promise that after my personally
overcoming a long war, I would be sent as a doctor to
help others recover from their own wars. I asked Him for
a Word and then scrolled to the following wonderful
confirmation to what I had been thinking:
HEALING
INSTRUMENTS 8/13/00
What's
coming Doc? Yep, that's what's coming! It's healing in a
new day and you shall walk in a new level of anointing.
I will make you like doctors of healing and you shall
become My instruments for even the most delicate
surgeries. And these patients won't have to pay
anything. For My healing waters shall be freely given to
all who would come.
It is
just around the corner Beloved. I will surround you with
My protection and covering. You shall live and dwell
within the anointing of My Presence.
"Is
anyone thirsty? Come and drink--even if you have no
money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk--it's all
free! Why spend your money on food that does not give
you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good?
Listen, and I will tell you where to get food that is
good for the soul!" (Isa 55:1-2 NLT)
WORD TO
PONDER: TIME SET APART WITH ME 11/9/03
My weary
one, you are just like the lap top computer. Your
battery can only go so far before you must return to
your power Source. You know exactly what that means. So
come now and plug yourself in.
"Who is
this coming up from the wilderness, leaning upon her
beloved?" (Song 8:5
NKJV)

RECHARGING US WITH HIS WORD
SIDE BAR
NOTE: I have about 500 pages of Words to Ponder,
(written from my rhema) in a file. Just like "anointed
hands" when I turn to a scripture or a quickened Word in
a book that exactly hits the spot, I often scroll in my
PC the same way. My eye has glanced down the right hand
side of the scroll bar to a certain location and then I
scroll to that place to whatever Word is waiting for me.
The Lord has used these Words to Ponder over and over
again to feed, strengthen, guide, confirm and encourage
me. His Words never seem to grow old or outdated. I know
they are from Him for the relevant situation, when they
are exactly pertinent to what I am thinking, praying, or
dealing with.
WORD TO
PONDER: MY QUICKENED WORDS 11/05/03
The
Words that I speak are alive. They give life. Some times
you question if what you hear is My Word for your life.
If I were to hook you to a jumper cable and charge you
back to life, does it charge someone else? No, it is
meant for your life. Does the battery question the
Source of the charge? No, it simply detects life and
energy and receives it. My Word connects with your heart
and charges you with belief. My Words put a bounce in
your walk of faith, by giving you a momentary lift off
for the next step.
John
6:63 NKJV
It is
the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.
The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are
life.

[Continued] DRAINED IN MINISTRY - Time to Recharge
EXPERIENCE: I am now driving the final jaunt home from
the train station physically exhausted and wiped out. I
have been reduced to whining and misery.
HILARIOUS QUICKENED EYE GLANCE: As I was whining to the
Lord for more strength, my eye fell on the freeway
billboard. It said, "Enough Already."
I was
totally tickled at this and found the energy to laugh,
then my eye went to the other side of the freeway at
another billboard. There was a picture of mother Teresa.
The caption said, "Reaching beyond your limits with
compassion."
HEARD
[after I collapsing in bed at home] Well done thou good
and faithful student.

CONCLUSION
============
{Words
to Ponder are summaries of His quickened Words}
WORD TO
PONDER: TIME TO RECHARGE YOUR BATTERIES
My
special warrior child, I have watched you bravely stand
strong against the opposing forces. I carefully
surrounded you with My protection and covering as you
poured yourself out as a soldier. You reached way beyond
your own limits with compassion for others even weaker
then yourself. Now you are totally spent. Enough
already!
Your
batteries need recharging. You have learned well the
secret to My power. It is being plugged into My Presence
and My Word. It is leaning upon Me in all that you do,
and knowing your Source of life and strength.
I AM
calling you into a new place dear one. It is a
governmental mantle. You shall be given the authority
and power to release the captives and heal them from
their warrior wounds. Even as you were wounded and
recovered, so shall you recover others. This will be a
new level of anointing, for I AM turning up the dial on
your giftings and My power shall flow even stronger then
you have known.
Ps
71:17-18 NKJV
O God,
You have taught me from my youth; and to this day I
declare Your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and
gray headed, O God, do not forsake me, until I declare
Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone
who is to come.
