I went to bed last night after having a particularly
sad afternoon. I was not sure why I was feeling that
way.
I HEARD THE LORD SAY: Empathic. People like that feel
more pain. You’ve been faithful with what I have given
you, honey. I will comfort.
UPDATE: I found out later that Grandma Anna had a
really hard afternoon the same day, crying over the
death of one His saints. She had found out the news that
day at church.
============
I HEARD THE LORD SAY: The empathetic, they cost a lot
of money. I will pay the bill.
[Today I had a conversation with my son who wrote his
scholarship paper about loving people and empathy.]
============
VISION: I was holding up a barometer.
I HEARD THE LORD SAY: Very cloudy. For both of you.
COMMENT: The article, "Intercessory Barometers"
(2/3/01) is available on my website. That is a more
thorough understanding about what it means to be an
intercessor with the gifting of being a "barometer."
============
I HEARD THE LORD SAY: Empathy. You know what to do.
(I heard that phrase to the tune of Hey Lord.) Battle.
War.

CONCLUSION

{Words to Ponder are summaries of His quickened Words
of prophetic revelation, punched with the word of wisdom
and written under inspiration.
WORD TO PONDER: YOU ARE FEELING WHAT I FEEL
I have placed within you a barometer and compassion
that is deeper than you understand. Sometimes you feel
the pain of others and do not even know it. Sometimes
you feel My pain for those who are hurting. Sometimes
you feel alone, sometimes you are unable to sleep,
sometimes you feel sorrow. In those times, even though
you don’t understand why you are in misery, I hear you
battle through and cry out for My comfort. Dear one, in
those times of naïve pain, you have been faithful with
what I have given you. All that matters is that you have
carried your pain to Me and let Me comfort you. In so
doing, I have also lifted another’s pain.
"For we have not an high priest which cannot be
touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in
all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let
us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that
we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of
need." (Heb 4:15-16 KJV)
