BROKEN AND FRAYED HEARTS

[Drawing the Pain to the Surface to
Heal]
EXPERIENCE: Wayne saw a pimple
being lanced and it was quickened to me. The Lord
reminded me of the following Word to Ponder. He is going
to draw out the pain of old wounds and bring healing to
our souls.
WORD TO PONDER: OLD TESTS ARE FOR
HEALING 1/22/04
When you suddenly find yourself
caught in an old test, one that you have taken before,
rejoice. This is your chance to get things right in
places where you have stumbled before. Dear ones, this
circle of pain is not allowed to make you fall, but to
bring healing deep within your soul.
Sometimes there are tiny threads of
past disappointments which are like little ingrown
hairs. Life grows around them as you press on in life
and they are ignored and unnoticed. When it is time to
repair the effects of these old wounds I allow them to
work their way toward the surface of your heart, Before
you know it, there is a red area, a little pocket of
infection that has become openly transparent. Give these
old places to Me and I will lance these pimples with the
sword of My Word. I will draw out the infection with My
love and grant you the warm balm of My healing Word. My
beloved child, always remember that when you ask Me for
forgiveness, I do not keep a record of your sins, you
are completely forgiven.
Ps 130:3, 4 NLT
LORD, if you kept a record of our
sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive? But you offer
forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.

HEARD 9/04/04: Surgery. I know it
was painful.
VISION: Jesus sat down in the seat
next to me and I just laid my head upon His shoulder. He
touched my face and turned it towards Him and I felt a
tear cascade down my cheek. At the same time my tear
fell, I saw the same tear drop fall from His eye. He
took my tear and placed it in His palm and it became a
diamond. I know that He was feeling my pain of having
deep soul surgeries this year. I heard Him say, My
Bride.
Ps 38:8-10 NKJV
I am feeble and severely broken; I
groan because of the turmoil of my heart. Lord, all my
desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from
You. My heart pants, my strength fails me; As for the
light of my eyes, it also has gone from me.
============
QUICKENED QUOTE: Until my heart was
broken, it was never open.
============
HEARD 4/30/04: The God of Justice
goes to bat for you. Let’s see what we can do. You’re
broken. Tear drop. Broken people. The whole truth and
nothing but the truth. Broken. I will fix it. I will do
a good job, day by day. I know what is needed. Renounce
the stress, battle fatigue. Weary, worn. It’s a new
beginning. Sing a new song. The past is not there.
I want him with me, he is not
there. I know that. He will be shortly. He’s numb. I put
him there. One day, hey I’m better. Healing as you go.
After the holes are filled.
NOTE: When the Lord speaks to me,
often He reveals the hearts of men in a form of
conversation. For instance in the above, this was
revealing an intercession over a loved one, that was
numb and would receive healing day by day and finally in
hindsight would notice things were better.

HEARD 7/14/04: Come Holy Spirit,
bring us in. Alignment. Obedience to completion. It’s
not easy. Just what the doctor ordered. It’s all about
love. So we press past the pain. To the heart of the
matter. It’s how to heal. One layer at a time.

CONCLUSION

POEM: TO HOLD YOUR HEART
As I hold your heart in the palm of
my hand,
And watch you walk from a child to
a man -
I feel tender and vulnerable along
with you too,
As the Master carves and crafts
anew.
To be able to hold you and see you
so clear,
To understand your owies and have
you so near.
Is an honor seldom known
From seeds so long ago sown.
To be trusted with your heart
As you seek your new start
Is enough to make me tremble
As I watch Him carefully assemble.
The tatters and the frays
Of what has gone astray.
Lift and pull and gently tug.
All the threads until they are
snug.
To see His image on the tapestry of
your life
Come into focus as you lay down all
strife.
What a glorious view having born so
much pain.
Now that I have seen you I will
never be the same.
May I never forget what you have
shared with me
As we move forward into place and
make history.
1 John 3:16-17 NKJV
By this we know love, because He
laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down
our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this world's
goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his
heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?
