DO NOT BOW TO INTIMIDATION

EXPERIENCE: While I was trying to rest, a dog in the neighborhood was loose and barking incessantly. I started binding the spirit of distraction and unrest in the dog. Because it was so disturbing, I discerned it was a spiritual plant.

HEARD: Grounded.

[The same exact instant I heard grounded, the dog stopped barking.]

Luke 10:18-19 NLT

"I saw Satan falling from heaven as a flash of lightning! And I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you.

QUICKENED MEMORY: We had several instances of being attacked by a spirit of intimidation this week. I won’t go into the details, but these were attacks intending to produce fear. This reminded me of a past Word to Ponder about rebuking spiritual dogs of intimidation:

WORD TO PONDER: REBUKE THE DOGS

I speak a hedge of protection around My own. The dogs of intimidation are loud. Rebuke them or ignore them, but do not fear them. Think of the positive side; you must have caused alarm for them to bark. If you wonder about your direction, remember as you grow closer to Me and follow My path, you cause enemy distress. If you are sleeping, they will too.

Release worry from your brow. It does not belong in your life. Rise above the rumble and walk in My rest. Command those dogs into obedience with the rod of My Name. Be strong and of good courage. Stand in defense and walk in faith.

Ps 22:19-22 NKJV

But You, O LORD, do not be far from Me; O My Strength, hasten to help Me! Deliver Me from the sword, My precious life from the power of the dog. Save Me from the lion's mouth and from the horns of the wild oxen! You have answered Me. I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You.

HEARD: Catalina.

INTERP: This was the Lord’s funny pun. I laughed out loud when I heard Him say that. Catalina is the name of a salad dressing. The Lord knows that just about the only joke I can remember is this one: "What is the honeymooners favorite salad?" "Let us alone." (Lettuce alone) Catalina is a pun for "Dear Cat, lean on the Lord (and don’t bow to intimidating dog barks!)" That was exactly how I had been feeling listening to the dog bark. I wanted to be left alone so I could be at rest and commune with Him. He has a wonderful sense of humor.

HEARD: Grace. To possess the spoils of war. Share your gifts. Don’t stop. Keep going. Ascend.

HEARD: The devil. Enemy trying to break through. Hedge. What needs to happen. Stand. Giant. Name of it, Intimidation.

WARFARE: The hedge was lifted and I fought against a spirit of intimidation. When done, I woke Wayne and we prayed together. I went back to sleep in peace.

HEARD: Dog intimidate. Don’t give even an inch. Be bold. It will get you where you want to go. Results. Flee. God has His eye on you.

DREAM: I saw a large group of people getting ready to minister. They were encircling those inside the circle that needed ministry. Jesus was walking around in their midst.  There was also a small single straight line of people outside the outer circle facing a field of opposition.

The confidence of the people getting ready to minister began to wane as they turned around and saw the opposition. I warned them several times, "Get your eyes off the enemy and back onto the Lord! Get your eyes off the enemy and back onto the Lord!"

I also told this to the people who were lined up with their backs to us. One turned around and argued that the Lord had positioned them there as intercessors. They were sitting in chairs facing the opposition and I felt the Lord had not placed them there, and all they were doing were was being decoys by with bouncing things back and forth in warfare. I felt that if they were intercessors they would have had their eyes and focus on the Lord and not on the opposition.

WORD TO PONDER: DO NOT BOW TO INTIMIDATION

As I send you forth into times of ministry, understand that conflicting forces aggressively challenge with obstacles, hindrances and curses to oppose your freedom. You may feel intimidation and oppression in the air. These things are in the air 24 hours a day. I promise you that when I send you forth to minister, if your eyes are on the opposition, your confidence will wane and you will feel My anointing ebb. The entire scheme of the enemy is to distract you away from Me, to get your eyes off of Me and onto conflict, and thereby dropping your shield of faith. As long as you keep your eyes on Me, your faith will be strong and joyful and My Presence will have free reign in your ministry times.

"For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by Satan." (Eph 6:15-17 NLT)
