WONDERFUL REVELATION: HIS MANIFEST PRESENCE [3/02/04]
John 14:19-24 NKJV
"A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will
see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that
I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments
and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved
by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."
Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, how is it that You will manifest
Yourself to us, and not to the world?" Jesus answered and said to him, "If
anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We
will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does
not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's
who sent Me."
I long for Him to manifest Himself that I may know Him. One of the ways
He does this is by making His abode with us and sharing His tangible manifest
Presence! Wow there is such mystery to His scriptures, there are so many
meaningful layers.

HEARD: It concerned what was given them to do. Assignment. Door. I need
help. It's open. What door? The door you opened.
Being willing. Gets you where you are going. Ship. Destination. Assignment.
Make sure the wind is blowing across the river. Michael has a problem. Be
obedient. I just don't understand. I believe the door is open. Faith level.
How do you get so close? By learning to obey Him. The gift of His manifested
Presence. Pure living water.

REVELATION: Today I was thinking about a man's testimony when
He had an awesome visitation from the Lord Himself. He said it had been
ten years since the Lord had come to him like that and when He finally did
come again, He told him that he loved a certain thing in his life more
than Himself.
This really pierced my heart for I knew there had also been something
I had loved more than the Lord; it was my time with TV. I had given it up
as a total fast of abstinence for 5 years. Then when the Lord put me on a
prophetic "vacation" (as Bob Jones called those years from 89-94) I watched
TV as something to fill my time and also to console my soul. It became a
comforting idol to me. After that, for 2 years I strove with the Lord about
giving it up and as a result I suffered a large onslaught of demonic persecution
at night time. I finally got the point and went back on another abstinence
for 8 years, until the Lord taught me self discipline and holy choices that
did not grieve the Holy Spirit. I realized that I loved comfort more than
Him and asked Him to forgive me for this self comfort. I knew TV was taking
the Holy Spirit's place in my life, because He is the Comforter.
HEARD: I forgive you. Comfort. Mercy. You learned your lesson. Persecute.
Redeemed from persecution. Manifest My glory. Your God shows up, big time.

WORD TO PONDER: ENTER INTO OUR JOY
Precious one, how often you have needlessly opened the door to persecution
because of your disobedience to My voice. As you learn to close the door
to the ways and comforts of the world, you also close the door to the demonic
world. I know this hurts for you to learn this through experience, but you
would not heed the voice of the prophetic warnings about the eye and ear
gates into the demonic world. I needed to convince you - and you do know
My love, that I always win. (Smile)
And now, as you have learned to obey Me through asking yourself, "What
would Jesus do?" you have learned to make healthy and holy choices and follow
My voice into a holy walk. My door of glory now opens for you to enjoy My
manifest Presence and you shall be surrounded day and night in this union
of our glorious abode. How I long to reveal Myself to you and how I long
for our fellowship! Come, dear one, and enter the joy of Your Lord.

You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence
and the pleasures of living with you forever.
