~ PACK, SEPARATE
AND MOVE, MOVE MOVE ~
SANDY
RHEMA 6/03/06 MOVE, MOVE, MOVE
When Bob
Jones saw the angel named
Breakthrough, he said, “Move, move.
Move!” This particular season the
Lord has been increasingly calling
my heart to let go of more stress in
my life and carry less. Most of it
has to do with learning to delegate
and only holding on to what I know I
am called to do. When we take
assessment of our lives, He begins
to pin point the burdens that we
carry and helps us separate the
clutter and this frees us up to move
into the promises and life He has
prepared for us.
Today I
turned with anointed hands in my
Word to Ponder book to the following
Ponder:
WHAT DO YOU STORE? 5/26/04
Within
the framework of your home is a
certain measure of space allotted
for you. It is within this space
that you place your life and all
that matters. What you value in
your life is what you store. Open
your cupboard doors, look upon your
shelves, open the boxes and peer
into your closets. What do you
find? Moving day is coming and all
that you have stored shall be
reassessed for use or discarded for
trash. Even as your home collects
memories and treasures based upon
what you deem important from beliefs
and fears, so it is that I clean and
purge as I move you into new
places. It’s time to clear out and
start packing.
“Remove the dross from silver,
and the sterling will be ready for
the silversmith.” (Proverbs 25:4
NLT)
When I
just re-read that Word to Ponder, I
was actually applying it to how much
my TV habits have changed throughout
the years in my attempts to honor
Him with choices that are edifying
and helpful. I was thinking through
the kinds of shows that I deem
worthy enough to record and applying
that it takes a certain allotted
space in the recorder, and also a
certain amount of time allotted in
my life to watch them.
CONFIRMATION: As I was
pondering this, I reached for an old
book with short stories in them. In
the story, a lady had a hard time
keeping her house organized and she
belonged to some email list that
sent her tips on clearing out
clutter that she no longer uses or
loves. She was joking about singing
the song, “Please Release Me, Let Me
Go.” The story ended with an
acronym, FLY: Finally love
yourselves.
I
remembered that old song that Dolly
Parton performed and realized the
Lord was talking to us about letting
go of old idols that we had outgrown
and overcome but still weighed our
souls down. Read the following
lyrics as our heart’s cry to let go
of old soul comforts so that we can
love the Lord as our first love!
SONG: PLEASE RELEASE ME
Please release me, let me go
'Cause I don't love you anymore
And to live without love is a sin
So release me and let me love again
I have found a new love, dear
And I'll always want him near
His lips are warm while yours are
cold
So release me, my darlin' let me go
Oh please release me, let me go
'Cause I just won't love you anymore
And to live together we both know is
a sin
So release me, release me and let me
love again
Oh, please, please, please, please
Release me, let me go
'Cause I, I don't love you anymore
And to live together is a sin
So release me and let me love again
WORD TO PONDER: LOVE YOURSELF BY
LETTING GO 6/0306
I AM
strongly moving you into new
territory. You have never been here
before. Yes it is a land full of
giants, but the harvest of the land
will be yielding your promises, and
your way is being prepared for the
taking.
Precious,
you can not move in, until you allow
Me the completion of that which I
began years ago. Release to Me the
places in your heart that are your
first loves. Get rid of the
hindrances that weigh heavy upon
your soul, your time, your health,
your money, your body, your spirit.
Give Me access in each of those
storage closets that are hidden. As
I shine My light upon these matters,
simply yield them to Me and grant Me
ownership.
If you
hold onto your life, you will lose
it. But if you give Me first place
and surrender all else to My will,
then you will find freedom to fly
into your new place. I AM asking
for these things, because I LOVE
YOU. If you release them, you will
finally understand that they are not
edifying and you will finally learn
how to love yourself as I love
you. My love will always set you
free. False lovers will only weigh
your soul down. Let go, My beloved,
return to Me!
Hos
2:14-17 NLT
"But then
I will win her back once again. I
will lead her out into the desert
and speak tenderly to her there. I
will return her vineyards to her and
transform the Valley of Trouble into
a gateway of hope. She will give
herself to me there, as she did long
ago when she was young, when I freed
her from her captivity in Egypt. "In
that coming day," says the LORD,
"you will call me 'my husband'
instead of 'my master.'
