RELEASE THE WEIGHT TO ME
[Climbed as Far as You Can Climb]
VISION 6/27/04: I had been driving
up a winding, narrow road. I was going slow enough to be
safe, but the road got narrower and I was feeling more
unstable around the corners. A friend was in the
passenger seat. I suddenly became alarmed and slammed on
the brakes as I turned this corner, and we had literally
come to the top of the mountain. It was a solid cliff
straight down. It was so far down you could not see the
bottom. We were way up, way, way up. I hit the brakes
too late and my car went over. I had the feeling of free
falling... still with no bottom or land in sight. I
looked over at my friend and saw her face very clearly.
She was as stunned as I was. I knew that she was
accessing that this was the end - that is unless we
received a miracle, and she was giving her life to the
Lord. I did the same with no fear. I reached out and
touched her shoulder as though to loose my peace over
her and wash her because MORE THAN FALLING I
supernaturally felt His Sovereignty literally holding us
up and I knew that whatever the outcome, it would be
Him. I had no fear of dying, or falling, or landing,
only pure peace.
I have thought about this vision
since then. I spent a long time wondering why my
friend???? Why was my friend in the car with me? I knew
she represented something, but I was not sure what. Here
are the various facts about her:
She always wanted to be a nurse.
That is her gift from the Lord over people’s hearts and
she has the promise that one day she will heal people as
she lays hands upon them.
Her name literally means medic.
In her body, my friend is
overweight. She has battled her weight most of her adult
life.
In her soul, she is tenderhearted
and cries very easily. She cries when she is sad, glad
and mad.
In the spirit, my friend is
overcoming fear and depression, along with the
medications that pacify such. She has a strong heart of
compassion.

APPLICATION:
3 John 2 NKJV
Beloved, I pray that you may
prosper in all things and be in health, just as your
soul prospers.
The condition of my friend
represents most within the body of Christ that have been
climbing an uphill battle. Statistics show that 80% of
all people over 25 are overweight. This is leading to an
alarming number of health problems and the results of
such have resulted in a downward spiral of misery - not
only in our bodies, but also in our souls and spirits. I
believe the Lord is saying that we have fought a huge
uphill battle and time has run out. We have gone over
the edge in the health of our bodies, souls and spirits.
We have fallen and are upside down. It is time to
consecrate our lives to the Lord.
1 Cor 6:19-20 AMP
Do you not know that your body is
the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who
lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift]
from God? You are not your own, You were bought with a
price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made
His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in
your body.

PRAYER: Lord, as one large kindred
heart family of The Quickened Word ministry, we unite
together and pray. We are far from healthy in our
bodies, souls and spirits. Many of us are overweight and
out of shape. We have been plundered and taken into
captivity and as often as we try to come out, we are
caught in never-ending circles of diets, sickness,
medications, miseries of soul and spirit. Lord we ask
You to forgive us where we have used the pleasures of
appetite to be our comfort, for this has taken Your
place as Comforter. We have used the comforts of the
world to be our drugs, to soothe and pacify the pain of
facing the truth. We have been disobedient to You in
taking care of our bodies as Your temple. Lord, You
thought we were precious enough to die for, that we
might be redeemed and made whole; body, soul and spirit.
And we have taken Your grace for granted through
plundering our lives with the world’s appetites. Lord
forgive us now as we consider afresh Your will for us to
come out of captivity. Have mercy on us oh Lord and
grant us help. In Jesus Name.

HEARD 6/30/04: My weeping friend.
How the pieces fit. What’s the way to resolve all these
things? Prayer. Keep praying. The answers are coming.
Three exits. Here’s one, soaring. Two, grounded,
landing. Here’s three, I quit. Dysfunction. Now which
layer do you want?
Sleepy wife, listen to Me please. I
am not here to scold you. Endear. Did you think that I
would? What you need is a good hug. Embrace. I wait for
the unsearched and the covered up. I want to teach
laughter. My joy. Why don’t you follow Me and I will
take you there?
APPLICATION: When I heard 3 exits,
it was immediately imparted to me that there were 3
choices I had in the vision of falling off the cliff.
The first choice is to soar in faith over the
circumstances, the second choice is to be rooted and
grounded in love, and the last choice is to just give up
and quit. So this means that we have come to the end of
our ropes so to speak, and it is time to be held and
healed, not scolded. He is going to bring us into
lighter days and restore our joy. He does not want to
come to us and scold us but to embrace us, because He
understands our pain and our desire to just give up and
not care anymore.
About the word endear: I recently
visited the rose gardens and before I walked through,
scanning the array of beauty, it was impressed upon me
to ask the Lord for a rose. I wanted to find the rose
that was my very favorite and then see its name. I just
felt He wanted to talk to me through a rose. I have many
special promises from the Lord about roses. It also just
so happens that this rose garden was where my Beloved
husband proposed to me almost 30 years ago.
I walked through the gardens, it
was like hunting for a great treasure. I found one that
was by far the most outstanding one I had ever seen in
my life. This had to have been the Lord that drew my
heart to ask Him. It was a large full bloom rose, and
the petals were the texture and color of deep red
velvet. They actually looked fury, as though velvet. The
innermost petals were a beautiful pink forming an inner
core. It was totally exquisite. I looked at the name and
it was a French name that meant my dearest.

His quickened Words}
WORD TO PONDER: FOLLOW ME INTO JOY
6/30/04
My dearest wife, My bride, how I
have longed to hold you and embrace you as My own. I
know your cares, I know your fears, I know your
struggles and your uphill journey to overcome. The road
has only become steeper in time and more narrow. Yes, I
know your failings. I understand your pain and your many
tears. Did you think I would come to you to scold you?
Do you really want to quit and give
up? Never. As you come to the end of your rope in so
many battles, I only ask that you totally lean all your
weight upon Me. Let Me carry you to your goal. Allow Me
access to put the pieces of your life back together
again and I will sustain you in My peace. Resist
meddling in My will and bring all things to Me in
prayer. I will bring you the answers you need and help
you resolve issues for which you have no answers. I will
help you soar above it all, and come safely to your
destination, being rooted deeply in My love for you.
You have been asleep in your
understanding of My earnest love for you and My desires
over you. I have earnestly waited for you and am
searching you out from the places in which you are
hiding. Did you think you could hide from Me, My dear
one? You have known tears, but I want to teach you to
laugh. There will come a day when you shall throw your
head back and belly laugh with Me! Impossible? Not in My
vocabulary. Why don’t you follow Me into a journey of
new beginnings and I will take you there? I will replace
all your shame and your sorrow and give you double
portion joy. I will restore health unto you, my dear
Beloved.
Ps 56:8-13 TLB
You have seen me tossing and
turning through the night. You have collected all my
tears and preserved them in your bottle! You have
recorded every one in your book. The very day I call for
help, the tide of battle turns. My enemies flee! This
one thing I know: God is for me! I am trusting God-oh,
praise his promises! I am not afraid of anything mere
man can do to me! Yes, praise his promises. I will
surely do what I have promised, Lord, and thank you for
your help. For you have saved me from death and my feet
from slipping, so that I can walk before the Lord in the
land of the living.
Isa 61:7 NLT
Instead of shame and dishonor, you
will inherit a double portion of prosperity and
everlasting joy.
