5781: THE HEBRAIC YEAR OF THE OX
September 18, 2020 begins the Hebrew year 5781.
- 5700 = may it be the year of
- 80 = the decade of the mouth
- 1 = The Hebrew letter Aleph. The picture of an ox/ strength/ leader. To be one with the Father.
It is interesting that scripture states 3 times the ox shall not be muzzled when it is treading out the grain. That is not only a confirmation, but shows its importance to the Lord. This is not necessarily about money. Consider this:
A muzzle covers the mouth. Treading out the grain was the oxen’s job. It was not to be muzzled while working. When the oxen’s mouth was not covered, it ate and thus rested. They covered the mouth to keep the oxen going without resting. In this age they would consider that animal cruelty to drive it so hard and keep it from resting.
Deuteronomy 25:4 You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain.
1 Timothy 5:18 For the scripture says, You shall not muzzle the ox that treads out the grain. And, The laborer is worthy of his reward.
1 Corinthians 9:9 For it is written in the law of Moses, You shall not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treads out the grain. Does God care for oxen?
2020 – THE YEAR OF BREATH AND WIND
In this first year of the new decade of the mouth, our mouths were covered with masks. The streets were silent, even worldwide. When forced to take a sabbatical, the world held its breath.
Do not be afraid. I saw the same stop light I saw before. The world on hold for its next breath. Global pandemic. Nations in turmoil.
Where are you sweet one? I saw a huge hand holding itself like a canopy over another hand. I saw a tiny person underneath the hand canopy. I saw a red ribbon tied onto an iron rod. It reminded me of when the spies returned Rahab’s kindness to save she and her family.
It was during this time I saw a vision of an ox treading in a circle that was never ending, I never wrote it down but pondered why I would see that. The oxen never stopped going in circles; that is the 9-5 world of ever repeating cycles without balance.
At the time I did not know this next year would the year of the ox. Will you return to the circles of yesterday? Or will you have a new perspective, a different priority with a new level of contentment?
7/10/16 A NEW CONTENTMENT LEVEL
Remarkable. I saw a salute and heard, at ease brethren. Then I saw legs spreading apart for a steady but resting stand. I will set you. Easy does it. Yoke. Being an overcomer. That’s why. You have been driven for too long.
Transition. It’s not something to be afraid of. I am changing you. Altering your contentment level. Into a new place of peace.
WORD TO PONDER: BALANCE – NO LONGER DRIVEN 7/10/16
Dear one, I heard your cries and feelings as your pace slowed and you sensed your productivity waned. No, I AM not done with you! Yes I have had you in a resting place for a season and yes now I AM moving you once again. I rested you because in your driven state of productivity you would have suffered burn out should I have allowed you to continue there.
Now that I AM moving you, I AM giving you a new contentment level in living a much better balanced life. You have been in a body, soul and spirit check point where I AM spotlighting the areas that need recovery and health. I AM teaching you to care for all of you, just as I care for all of you. I AM so pleased to see you follow Me and be obedient to what I AM asking. Maturity is recognizing that I created you with body, soul and spirit and I want you preserved blameless until I come. You will find great peace in living this way and I will pour into you a sense of great satisfaction.
1Ti 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
I saw a Viking with his hands on the horns of oxen. The oxen were plowing hard ground. I just am trying to finish working.
No, you don’t do that anymore. You were driven sweetheart. You know this. It was a long run. You rested. The power of your faith to never give up. You are living in a new day sweet one. Your past is forever behind you. It’s gone.
BALANCE!
WAYNE’S PRAYER
For decades, when Wayne prays he asks to be yoked together with the Lord. Oxen usually work in pairs, being held together in unison by a yoke. When we are yoked together with the Lord, we are partnering with Him. He carries the weight and we simply walk along side of Him. As we walk alongside of Him, we are one with Him. When He presses through, we press through. When He rests, we rest. When He refreshes, so do we.
He is leading us into a life of balance, where we adjust our priorities, time, and commitments. The Lord is not calling us into a life of slavery but a life of being yoked with Him in friendship and intimacy as we go about our daily efforts. In the year of the ox we have a choice. What is your priority?
THE WARNING OF THE OX
Bob Jones used to quote the following scripture in regards to the prophetic fellowshipping together, but also making messes. He said the messes will happen but we must continue to abide together for the sake of increase and harvest.
Proverbs 14:4 Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox.
PRAYER: Lord thank You for giving us the gifts of the eyes and ears of the prophets. We bless them in Jesus name. And we heed those You have sent to us Lord. We ask that You give the prophetic in this season Your grace to say only what You say, and do only what You do. Protect us from presumption Lord. Let us dwell together in unity so that Your anointing will flow!
2 Chronicles 20:20B Believe in the LORD your God, so shall you be established; believe his prophets, so shall you prosper.
Psalm 133:1-3 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! 2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; 3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life forevermore.
