A CANOPY OF COMFORT 

This morning as I woke, I heard the Lord say we are crossing over a river.  For some strange reason (smile) I asked the name of the river.  He said, “Cold.”  I realized how hostile the worldly environment is right now in the US, and it was a comfort to me that He said we were crossing OVER it.

 

Then when I got up, I turned to this Word to Ponder:

 

A CANOPY OF COMFORT 

Precious children, My loving arms simply want to hold you and keep you close to Me. Yes I know you see and hear the storms raging on earth. But inside Me is the warm, soothing comfort that canopies your body, mind, and soul that lets you settle into Me no matter what your circumstances.

My comfort is not to encourage the demonic lure of self-pity. When you pity yourself, there is no room for My merciful compassion. Turn your heart outward to Me, not inward precious ones. My blanket of shelter will canopy you in the storms of life.

Isa 63:8-9 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Savior. 9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them, and carried them all the days of old.

 

Even this photo is from the Lord!  When I looked for a photo of crossing over, this one caught my eye. Then I saw the caption, A view of the bridge from the middle of Cold River!  Then after realizing the confirmation, I saw that the bridge was COVERED.  (A canopy)

 

He is keeping us through a transition place, where we dont look to the right or the left.  We keep our eyes straight forward, not acknowledging what is beneath us or around us.  Simply advancing, moving forward in Jesus Name. We are covered and surrounded and secure no matter what rages.  What love He has for His Beloveds!
