BREAKING FREE FROM OUR SHELLS

When a baby birdie is still inside its shell, it grows until it is too confined and it has no more room. God made everything that is born from inside a shell to desire to begin to peak at it shell from the inside until it finally breaks free. If the mother bird were to try and help the birdie, it would not have grown the strength to live on the outside.
We all know if we try to “help” a bird come out of its shell, the bird will die. It needs the strength it gains through tapping, so be able to live on the outside.
That is true with us when we are trying to face new things. Sometimes it is hard to break through our own limitations but if someone were to do that for us, we would not be prepared to live the new life outside. We have to have the strength and desire to live a new life.
I am reminded of a vision I had once where I was inside this egg and things were getting cramped inside and I began tapping on the shell with my baby bottle. I broke out and had on a darling little party dress, matching bottle. I appeared to be about 5 years old. I looked around and there were all these eggs everywhere. Their eggs were much smaller than mine and I knew they still had to grow and it wasnt time for them to come out yet. So I said, I am going to go tell My heavenly Father what I just did! I was so proud of myself and excited to get out of that shell.
Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
