DISCOURAGED AND AMAZED BY WHAT HE SAID

12/21/24 DISCOURAGED AND AMAZED BY WHAT HE SAID

Last night when I went to bed I felt so discouraged. I felt so guilty feeling that way because there is SO much to be SO thankful for! Never-the-less I was discouraged and tired and poured out my complaints to the Lord.

I saw a huge eye looking at me. After my complaints I prayed in tongues for about a half an hour trying to break through and waited upon Him before I fell asleep, still discouraged. In the middle of the night I suddenly heard Him say, I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! I was flabbergasted because I was feeling badly for complaining.

[Lord please forgive me, but I honestly don’t know why You say that NOW, after I have complained and felt so emotionally discouraged today.]

Because you don’t quit sweet one. No matter what, You still come to Me. You still seek My face.

Talk with Me. I don’t want you holding it in sweet one. You told Me the truth, how you were feeling. I heard the line in the song and the joy we share as we tarry there. None other has ever known.

I was so profoundly touched that even when we are discouraged and so negative in our emotions it touches Him that we still try to seek Him. Scripture tells us that it pleases Him when we diligently seek Him, no matter how we feel!

Hebrews 11:5-6 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
