FAITH IN HIS KEEPING POWER

11/21/24 FAITH IN HIS KEEPING POWER

I saw a gold box drawn around a passage of scripture in my Bible.  I heard, We walk by faith and not by sight. I have given you both. Because you were faithful with what I gave. Your increase is a greater measure.

FEARING GOD AND PRESERVED FROM EVIL

Today I was reading scriptures about the Lord protecting us from being given over to the enemy and I thought of the following vision.

(Psa 31:8) You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place.

John 17:15 I pray not that you should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil.

Psalm 121:7-8 The LORD shall preserve you from all evil: he shall preserve your soul. 8 The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore.

Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

1/12/2000 PROTECTED BARRIER

I was standing in a big deep cave, with an underground pool of water in front of me. I felt Jesus standing next to me but I did not see Him. We were looking at the back of the pool of water at a cave wall. There were 2 large holes with a U shaped tunnel going between the two holes. In the right hole was the large head of a dragon and in the left hole was its tail. I watched it slither out the tunnel into the water. It took a large plunge towards me and came to an invisible barrier as it lunged at my face in violence. I stood there surprised at the barrier and felt like I had flinched some, but stood my ground. I was not afraid, but felt the Lord’s peace and assurance regarding this barrier. I heard His still small voice say something to me, but I cannot remember exactly what. I understood it was a warning that I was to be very careful in obedience in following my conscience. This had something to do with the barrier staying there.

Acts 24:16 And in this do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.

I pondered this truth, that I trust in His Sovereignty no matter what. He is still Boss. He is still in control. He is still on the throne. When you fear God, you don’t fear the devil. It is a beautiful place to be so settled in such a faith. That what He allows to touch our lives is for our good as He helps us grow up into His image. The concept of fearing God puts one’s focus on desiring to please Him. Fearing God is working with Him and not against Him. Fearing God is being willing and leaning on Him to be obedient.

Lord thank You for Your amazing keeping power over me all these years. You have been patient with my rebellions and yes I have learned hard lessons. But inspite of myself, Your amazing keeping power is true. Many times over I would not be here if it were not for that. I know You preserve me for Your purposes. Help to always love You, fear You, trust that You are Boss. Help me to fulfill all You have called me to do in Jesus Name.
