False Signs
WARNING AGAINST FALSE SIGNS
Mark 13:21-23 NKJV
“Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, He is there!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. But take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.
Jesus warned us that false christs and prophets will arise and they too will show signs and wonders. This is especially important in the last days of when the beast comes to war against the saints for 42 months. He will do signs and deceive many. (Rev 13) It is eternally important not to take the mark of the beast upon their forehead or hand, for they will be tormented forever. This mark is the mark of his name or number: 666. (Rev 13:18)
Dan 11:32-37 NKJV
Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; et for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering. Now when they fall, they shall be aided with a little help; but many shall join with them by intrigue. And some of those of understanding shall fall , to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time. “Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done.
Rev 13:7-8 NKJV
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Rev 14:9-11 NKJV
“If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
The Lord’s supernatural outpouring is breaking and shaking man’s religious boxes as to Who He is. There are many ways man boxes God. One way is by interpreting the Bible to say God intended the supernatural to die with the early Apostles. Man will be confronted with a choice of removing the box and allowing God to reveal Himself as He chooses, or he may not be included in the blessings of the pouring forth of the latter rain of God’s Spirit.
Have you ever been in a belly-gusher rain? One time we had a deep, very loud, and overwhelming downpour. The gutters overran and our kitty’s pillow and blanket were drenched. I think it scared her, as after I washed and dried her bed (without offending soap or softeners) she would not come back and rest. She was sleeping somewhere else in the neighborhood and coming back to eat. It really bothered me and I kept praying that she would return and find her place of comfort.
Finally, I came up with an idea. Whenever my son got her towel out and placed it on his lap, she came running! So, I told him to also get her clean blanket that was on top of her pillow, and sneak it in with the towel so she could get her smell on it. He did this and she loved her time with my son. Then he placed her on her pillow with her blanket. The next day she was contentedly sleeping there.
The point of the allegory is that sometimes the supernatural rain of the Lord upsets our security because we are frail human beings. We become unstable and need to return to our resting place. The Lord wants to build in us a secure foundation. He understands and He will do His best to bring us to that place of security, that safe place of faith in Him.
People can go through a sifting process when they are learning to discern the supernatural. They really desire God and earnestly want to make the correct choices. However, the inability to make the decision causes the wavering to become intense. So many have already been sifted in their hearing and led astray because of lack of knowledge.
When in doubt, first ask yourself, “Does this ministry believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and died for my sins? Does this minister accept the worship and praises for himself, or does this minister point to Jesus Christ as the Source of all he has? Does this minister represent God’s love? Do I feel God’s love through this ministry?
To keep from being sifted, a firm foundation is needed in reading the Bible and understanding Who God is. The things that God speaks will always line up with Who He is, so if you earnestly desire God and come across something that shakes a box inside you, PRAY about it, and ask HIM. If you are insecure about what you’ve been exposed to, go to Him and He will establish you. He will help you find Him and help you make the correct decisions.
John 20:30-31 NKJV
And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
Heb 2:4 AMP
[Besides this evidence] it was also established and plainly endorsed by God, Who showed His approval of it by signs and wonders and various miraculous manifestations of [His] power and by imparting the gifts of the Holy Spirit [to the believers] according to His own will.

I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.
THE FALSE SIGNS
Matt 24:24-25
For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.
2 Thessalonians 2:9
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders,
Revelation 13:13
He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived.
Revelation 16:14
For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
Revelation 19:20
Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.
LYING SIGNS
EXCERPT ANNIE’S VISION BOOK 3
“…There upon the earth I saw the souls of the sons of light to whom had been given a work of power to do. This work was a miracle to them and was a true sign to His working – a gift of power that had come from Him.
As soon as the sons of light began to work rejoicing in this manifest of Jesus in their midst, the sons of darkness accompanies by the shadows of the enemy forces of evil also began to work miracles and do wonderful things. The signs that they brought were even greater and more spectacular that those of the sons of light. Deriding the lesser signs and wonders that the others had worked, the evil ones mocked and scoffed with great delight, Not only did the false, lying signs and wonders show great power but also they were far more numerous. These false wonders deceived many, and some, who at first had looked to the true works of God, now turned away after these greater, yet false signs. When the Lord would do one work as a sign, then the enemy would work many even greater wonders.
He said to me, “I have given this power unto the enemy, yet he shall not deceive my own unto whom I shall give sufficient light so that they shall be able to discern the know which are the true works of My hand. I shall do this to refine and purify them. They will have to choose which wonders are right and which are of Me. Those who truly desire to follow Me shall correctly define things as they are and shall not be deceived or led astray. But those who are not truly following after Me and do not desire Me shall chose the way of the greater and more numerous wonders and false signs. Deceiving themselves, these shall follow after the lying workers of miracles because they seek not to follow Me and are deceived in themselves.
As I watched, I saw great numbers follow after the greater, yet false signs and miracles, being greatly deceived. (Yet His own were not deceived.) Following after the false wonders they did not return to those sons of light in whom He was present no look any more at those apparently lesser miracles that He was working in their midst. Those who followed the lying signs became ensnared and at last were destroyed.
No longer were those who accepted the false wonders present among the sons of light who remained alone with Him.”
