COMMENTS ABOUT INTERPOLATE:

Hearing the word interpolate and seeing the line of a radio frequency are the Lord’s riddles needing interpretation. (Num 12:6,8) Scripture says that we know in part and prophesy in part. We do not know the whole picture. (1 Cor 13:9) The Lord speaks in snip-its, parts and pieces and our part is to fill in the blanks with inspired interpretation. When Pharaoh had the dream about the 7 cows and 7 heads of grain, the dream did not tell Joseph that these symbols meant 7 years. There was information missing between the 7 years and the 7 cows and grain heads. It was necessary to fill in the missing blanks and draw a conclusion. (Gen 41)

APPLICATION:
Sometimes a radio frequency breaks up and causes gaps in what is being said. A sound wave is not a straight line, but a wavy line like a radio frequency. If the sound wave is broken, it is easy to fill in the missing gaps by connecting the context between the lines. In such an instance, one fills in the blanks with a best guess within the context. This is true with interpolation. Interpretation is similar, except that it is also inspired by the Holy Spirit.

WORD TO PONDER: TO KNOW IN PART

I AM in the smallest detail and in the biggest picture. When I speak to you, I speak in small pieces of information and not the entire picture. I may quicken a concept, I may speak a Word, and maybe highlight a phrase. I breathe life upon My Words, no matter in what form they come. These Words are like sign posts along your journey in life. They confirm your coming and going, and keep you going in the right direction. The journey that I have ordained for you does not have the entire road mapped out with every rock, landmark, and detailed step. Rather I present an overall landscape and give you enough information to be able to recognize and fill in the blanks as they come. I give you the signposts, you fill in the gaps as you walk. As you lean upon Me, My Spirit will lead you and inspire you with understanding and revelation.

“For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.” (1 Cor 13:9-10 NKJV)
