I take such delight that God uses anything to speak to us. Here is a list of some of the times He has spoken to me through commercials on tv, Youtube, etc.
6/1/97 WORTH THE WAIT
Just as I was thinking about waiting 13 years to publish my first book, I saw a commercial picture on TV that said, “Worth the time.” (I wrote it in 3 months in 1984 and the Lord told me to wait. I was reminded of Joseph being let out of prison after 13 years and how God used it for good.

1/14/98: IT’S TIME TO PLUG IN
I was thinking about being on the ministry team for an out of town conference. As I was praying about whether to accept the invite, I heard the Holy Spirit singing to me the commercial song, Plug her in, plug her in!
This is a funny Word! They have a commercial about the “Plug ins” that smell good when you plug them into a wall socket. The commercial song says, “Plug it in, plug it in.” He is saying He wanted me plugged into the ministry team for the conference and plugged into His power to minister.
WORD TO PONDER: REACH UP AND CONNECT WITH MY POWER 7/17/17
Dear ones, My power has been sent from heaven to earth and it is waiting for you. Reach up and plug into Me. As you reach up in prayer, connect with the power and authority of My Word. Be My conduit into the earth. It’s there for you dear ones, grab it and hang on. Heaven has mighty things in store for those who are willing to extend themselves and partner with Heaven’s call.

7/22/04 A GOOD YEAR WITH HIS ASSURANCE
Today I saw a commercial that was quickened. It was about driving with GOOD YEAR tires. The word Assurance was over the archway on a tunnel through the mountains. The Lord once gave me the rhema of boring through the mountain of obstacles and paving a path behind me. I had written in the back of a Bible, The day they bored through was their break through, the waters flowed.” He is saying it will be a good year and He is assuring me that even though it feels like facing a mountain, He will bring me through it.
WORD TO PONDER: ARE YOU COMING OUT OF YOUR TUNNEL? 6/07/13
Dear ones, I understand you have gone through an enormous battle of pressing through your mountains. It has been a long journey of faith and you have been trusting Me all this way. I have left a trail of bread crumbs, like little dots of light that have brought you through a dark time of much pressure. You have been boring through great mountains and it has only been because of your diligence and focus on Me that you have come this far. Are you going to stop short, just shy of breaking through?
Yes the cost to get you to the end has been very high, much more than what you expected. And yet Who has funded your way with great grace, favor and help? You have let go of your independence and learned to depend upon Me. I have been with you and never left your side even for an instance. I realize you are in need of much repair and you have hesitation about coming out and facing a new season, because of having already counted the cost of the last one. I understand this precious ones. Yes wait on Me, count your costs and make your decisions. No matter how beautiful the breakthroughs are, it does need great courage to overcome your past and be willing to walk away from it. I AM with you and am so proud of your journey in Me!

9/15/05 WALK WITH ME: BULLETIN BOARDS UNITE!
We have a small whiteboard on the kitchen wall in our home. We keep track of our comings and goings, post notes for things to do, appointments, needs, etc. This morning I saw a vision of a much larger white board being installed in my kitchen. I immediately understood this was the Lord’s dark speech for the new forum being installed. Spiritually speaking, I gather rhema food and cook it into meals. My life in the Lord is centered around the kitchen.
I am just completing the 9 month project of building the QW Community Forums, which in the internet can also be called message boards. I thought the pun of seeing the much larger white board being installed in my kitchen was cute. He has such a delightful of speaking to me!
FUN CONFIRMATION: Tonight I saw a quickened commercial. There were these people writing on bulletin boards, and the boards were placed in funny places like outside on the street. Eventually the boards and the people writing on them all gather into one boardroom. The room is filled with people writing on bulletin boards and these boards are totally packed with symbols. There was hardly an inch of blank space. As I saw these funny symbols, I thought of the Lord talking to us through the dark speech of dreams, visions and parables. These are a language all their own, where one symbol speaks a volume of words.
Here are some snipits of what I remember from the commercial: “An idea is a powerful thing. You never know when they are going to happen. When great minds come together, who knows what we can accomplish.”
He is saying that many will participate as we gather a hub of many people writing on their boards. I was really touched by this wonderful Word. The Lord was telling me that in our gathering together to share our ideas on the forum, we will accomplish powerful things. We will be sharing the many faceted ways God speaks into our lives and together we will build something very creative that will minister to many.

10/20/08 HILARIOUS COMMERCIAL – GROWING UP IS A PROCESS
I was almost finished making the framework of the new QW school on line, after weeks of downloading software and trying it out. The closer I got to finishing, the more insecure I was feeling. Finally yesterday I was done making the first lesson and it all hit me like a ton of bricks. I said, “Lord I dont think I can do this!” ARE YOU SURE???? Smile…. I have never gone this way before!
So I went to bed really tired and turned on TV. An ad popped on where there was this teacher standing in front of a small class. He was holding a small little mouse in his hands. (This was a live mouse, not a computer mouse.) He was trying to help the students grow up and realize they were all leaders. So he asks one fellow, and he produces the right answer, “Leader!” And then he asks another gal and she says, “Leader!” Then he accidently drops the mouse and the mouse scampers away. Immediately following the whole class gets down on their hands and knees and crawls out the door like babies. The Fed X man shows up, and he has watched this whole thing. The teacher looks at him after the class has departed, and the Fed X man says, “Hey, it’s a PROCESS!”
In my past rhema, the Fed X man represents the angels. They dont write the words or gifts, but they carry them to their destination! The Fed X man had just arrived at the new school with several boxes of supplies. Maybe one box will be knee pads…

WORD TO PONDER: DO NOT FEAR LEADERSHIP CALLING 5/1/94
I will use you to lead My children on a journey. Please bear with Me, My daughter. I know you well and understand all your fears of a leadership calling. Other leaders may not want to eat at your table, but I assure you, My children will. You will grow so hot with My Word, that you will be like an emerging volcano. In the fullness of time, everything will spill forth which I have built within you.
“Did I conceive all these people? Did I beget them, that You should say to me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a guardian carries a nursing child,’ to the land which You swore to their fathers? Where am I to get meat to give to all these people? For they weep all over me, saying, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat.” (Nu 11:12-14 NKJV)

11/05/10 MIRACLE WHIP
Today I used the rest of the jar of Miracle Whip to make tuna fish and when I looked in the jar there was about a teaspoon left. I remembered the funny commercial and then I remembered the vision I’d had.
7/15/98 VISION: I saw a brand new large jar of Miracle Whip. Then I opened up the jar and peered inside. It was all scraped clean except for the last small teaspoon.
I heard the Lord say, People’s problems. They all have them. I gave you this story for others so that everyone would identify, knowing that it happens to everyone.
Wayne mentioned the commercial that when the fellow makes this huge sandwich, then opens the jar of Miracle Whip, there is only one tiny small teaspoon left. So he scrapes out the teaspoon, and cuts off a tiny piece of the sandwich, and eats only the tiny bite with a huge blob of Miracle Whip on top!

12/04/10 PARABLE: THE CHRISTMAS CARD COMMERCIAL
There is a great commercial on right now about “talking” Christmas cards. I have personally received 2 of these from my grandkids, and love these cards! When the giver buys a card, they push a button on the card and record their voice saying something. Then when the receiver opens the card, they hear the voice!
So the commercial is a lady who is working in the Christmas card isle. She secretly picks up one card and starts a song. Then she picks up another card and continues the next line of the song. Then she picks up another and does one more line. As she is walking away, now all the cards are singing in harmony! I laughed at the creative idea and cherub expression on her face as she is walking down the isle and the Christmas cards are all singing! He was reminding me how precious it is to share at our QW Community.
WORD TO PONDER: I GO BEFORE YOU AND PREPARE YOUR PATH WITH WORDS 12/04/10
I AM bringing all things together, united in Me. I go before you, precious one, and set up divine appointments. As you come to those places, My Words will sing and ring forth in one accord with your heart. The more you walk in My path, the more you will be given, and together these Words in your life will bring forth a beautiful melody that harmonizes you with My will on earth. You will find that I AM doing the same thing in My people and when you connect with them, you each will be singing My song in lovely harmony and in one accord.

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments.

6/07/13 FOLLOWING THE PATH OF THE RED LICORICE
Today on my way to the doctors, I was super tired. I was really praying for physical strength to get through the day. I asked Him for a Word and immediately I thought of a red licorice rope! It was very obviously Him since it just popped into my memory and came out of the blue. I turned my head to look at a car and it was the same color van as ours and the last three letters on the plate spelled FLY.
I prayed that the Lord would help me understand what a red licorice rope had to do with His Word. It was kind of funny at the process He took me through to get the revelation and I totally delighted in the process. He brought into memory that the Hebrew word WAIT upon the Lord, means to bind together by twisting. That is what red liquorish looks like, a rope.

When I drove into the doctor’s parking lot I noticed the wind gently blowing and it was such a lovely day as I parked under a huge shade tree. I was pondering the word FLY I was thinking about a bird waiting for the wind and how it spreads its wings to rise higher and soar.
OH I GET IT LORD! The red licorice represents this scripture! This was SO funny to me because He has given me this scripture and Word to many, many times. He took me the long way around to tell me He was answering my urgent prayer for strength and also gave me a fun treasure hunt in the process. Smiles.
Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
I felt SO satisfied to have walked through the process of that Word, intimately knowing I was following His lead, like a divine setup! After the doctor appt I went to get groceries, and was just completely spent once I landed in line at the check stand. After I placed my groceries on the ramp, I saw a man’s hand put something down right next to my divider I had put down at the end of my groceries.
Oh my! It was a bag of red licorice! I looked at him and he smiled at me and I wondered if he was an angel! I felt so comforted with his smile. Then as I was paying for my stuff, I looked back to see what else he put on the ramp. He had a pile of different kinds of bird seed, and that is all!
I had a such a special day of intimacy in receiving His simple promise that as we learn to pray, then wait upon the Lord, He does renew us and give us strength and provides for our future just like He feeds the birds!

WORD TO PONDER: HOW TO MOUNT UP 3/24/11
Are you are tired, burnt out and need a lift? Wait upon Me. When you wait upon Me, I will plug you into My resting place, I will mount you up to fly and I will carry you to a new place. Wait upon Me through seeking My voice through My Word, through the 5 fold ministry and through the body. Wait upon Me with a fasted life style that limits warfare and breeds faith. Seek My manna daily for no man can live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord. Plug directly into the One Who longs to touch you at your level of need. Come dear ones, plug in and mount up. I will renew your strength; you will walk in Me and no longer faint.
