HIS PRECIOUS WATCH CARE OVER US

8/24/24 HIS PRECIOUS WATCH CARE OVER US

The following is my answered prayer and the Lord’s Word through my Baby Kitty adventure. Oh the Lord loves us so very much and His heart is FOR us and our comfort!

8/22/24 THE CAT TREE

I have watched many hours of YouTubes learning about cats and some cats feel safest when perched on high ground so they can stay watchful without feeling threatened. This is Baby Kitty for sure.

When our adopted kitty is afraid she stays in the highest place she can find; the crest of the tree. That has been such a precious shaded shelter for her when bad kitties come through. However once a year in the fall, we have a yard crew come in and cut our arborvitaes and ivy hedge. They also cut the tree back and leave only the 5 main branches. The tree always grows lush leaves in the spring/ summer for lots of shade. Cutting all the green shoots off brings extra light inside our house in the winter and it saves us from having to rake leaves. All of this means Baby Kitty’s safe place is about to change. I ordered a cat tree for her and it arrives tomorrow.

Today when I ordered her cat tree, I was doing a Word study on the following scripture. When I looked up the word “defense” immediately I saw the light! I smiled really big! The Lord was there just waiting for me to find this on the right day. I was so touched!!

Psalm 94:22 But the LORD is my defense; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

8/23/24 BABY KITTY’S NEW CAT TREE ARRIVES!

The cat tree arrived and it took me 3 hours to put together, nonstop. I took extra care to make each screw extra tight because in the reviews of other trees they said those trees were too wobbly and the cats didn’t like that when they wanted to jump off.  (Screws represent confirmations, establishing His Word in our lives.)  I was a lot of work and muscle and I was very tired and had spent myself in the process, but I was driven to make a place of comfort for her at night, also hoping her food at the top would be a deterrent to the other cats who wander through.

I put a LOT of prayer into this investment because I had tried several other options that we already had but she refused them all due to the smell of another cat’s use. She has refused 2 blankies, one bed, one cat house. It is a miracle she let me adopt her, then pet her, then feed her, finally hold her while sitting and finally lay on the deck so close to the door. She has yet to allow me to pick her up while standing!

I just have wanted her to have a warm place during winter and also a high place where she feels secure at night and have not given up on my prayers and desires for her to settle.

So the tree was 45 pounds and Wayne helped me carry it out to the deck. I put little pieces of dry food on each step to coax her upwards. I was reminded of how often in my life growing up I was hesitant and cautious over trying new things. I am also reminded how many mindsets Baby Kitty has against trying new things.

One day I was praying over her inability to settle and I saw a demonic spirit influence her brain. I bound that thing and started taking authority over her mindsets that were keeping her stuck with inability to receive the gifts that were being prepared for her! I took this prayer seriously and so I was really anticipating how she would accept this new tree!   Well I am VERY happy that the Lord answered my heart’s desires, my prayers to Him and my taking authority over the demonic spirit!

It took me about 10 minutes to coax her to climb up for morsels. (How like the Lord that is!)  We got a few steps up and then she would jump down and walk away. I knew she was hungry… I tried a couple more times and then I went inside and watched. She came over to it on her own and had her front paws up looking at that level. I came out and tried and again and she made it to the top!! I left her there to eat and went back into watch. I wanted to know if she could figure out how to get down!

I am fondly remembering the first 3 days I saw her in the tree! I heard her meow but didn’t know if she was stuck there as she would shrink back every time I would try to reach her. I prayed and asked the Lord to help me see her on the ground so I could have peace that she was OK. He answered that fast and I heard her take a leap onto the round rocks and saw her run. Boy she was an expert and I had no worries that she would ever be stuck in that tree!

So sure enough when she was done eating, she looked down the cat tree, then turned around and took a flying leap onto the deck. She wasn’t going mess with those meandering steps. I went to bed and earnestly prayed once again she would find a place to settle there; spend the night up high!

8/24/24 BABY KITTY (AND MINE) FIRST NIGHT IN NEW PLACE

(My next day’s rhema dates always start at bed time so it is now 8/24.) After praying over Baby Kitty I heard the Lord say, Be at peace My child I want you to get some good rest. I went in the Spirit to see Baby Kitty on her new cat tree. She was busy sniffing it and checking it out. I was very close to her when I saw this, just a few inches away from her! I knew I was actually there in the Spirit.  I was at peace and fell asleep.

2 AM – HER FIRST NIGHT AND ANSWERED PRAYERS!!

I woke at 2 AM and got up for early devotions. I was a happy camper when I peeked outside. There she was laying down on the food shelf! Her eyes were open and she was watching out into the darkness from the shadows of the porch light. It amazed me to see how totally alert she was, keeping her guard up and continually watching. It confirmed to me how badly she has needed to feel safe.

In my jammies and sweater I went outside to pet her and in celebration I couldn’t resist giving her a special treat of more food! She was very quiet and kept her guard up the whole time I was with her, continually looking out into the yard. I came back in and had very early morning devotions in my chair:

AM DEVOTIONS: HIS PRECIOUS WATCH CARE!

My dear daughter. You belong to Me. I have great watch care over you. (Immediately I thought of Baby Kitty’s comfort and my care in making the cat tree for her yesterday. I so badly wanted her to feel safe and especially at night.)  Heard: Yes precious one. To settle down into comfort.

Lord with all my heart I thank You so, so, so, so so much for sending me a kitty to adopt! I am so deeply grateful and comforted.

3 AM – Baby Kitty is still in the same position and alertness. Smiles.

AMAZING CONFIRMATION!

I am reading scripture now and was reading Psalm 116 when the word BENEFITS leaped out at me. So I looked it up and was just absolutely BLESSED!

Simply WOW Lord, You are so amazing to dove tail Your Words to me through my daily life, rhema, scripture and confirmation with answered prayer. I would say this cat tree is a very, very precious sign of Your heart towards all of us, how You watch so carefully over each of us to tend to our needs.

4 AM – Baby Kitty is still in the same position and alertness! Sitting in a watch position, eyes wide open and peering into the shadowy yard. I went back to bed to finish my night’s sleep. In the morning Wayne said that every time he looked out the window, she was there watching on her perch. I am SO grateful!

WORD TO PONDER – I LOVE TO GIVE YOU THE GOODNESS OF MY BENEFITS 8/24/24

Dear one, in your watchfulness over the darkness of the world’s trespassers, I want you to climb higher so you can rest easier. I am your Rock, your Refuge, your High Shelter!  Climb higher into My loving fellowship and Word.  I so deeply care for your condition in all that you face, and want you feeling stable, secure and safe within the environment you are living. I AM your Bread of life and I will never forsake you or your needs. My heart is earnestly WITH you My child. I love giving My goodness to you bountifully, for You are the apple of My eye.  Rest now dear one as You enjoy all of My benefits.
