I bought 2 Bibles this summer. One is an awesome study Bible of which there is nothing like it, and SO helpful. It has virtually NO margins to write. So I bought another Bible in which to read and write in, and I am using the Study Bible as a study resource. In the process I downloaded 2 Bible apps because I discovered they have lots of options for commentaries, etc. I have never really used commentaries before.
So I have all my journals, recent printed rhema and Bibles beside my chair on easy to reach shelves. I have 7 bibles at my chair of which each have a different purpose. I have 2 art Bibles, one was a gift that I use only for art. The other art one is already full and I enjoy just turning to it to be edified. Then I have my 2 new Bibles and Anna’s old Bible that she had re-bound with her awesome studies in it. I use my PC Bible every day with my rhema, and it is open screen almost all day. And I have my 2 Bible apps that I use for looking up strongs and also daily verses and commentaries when I am doing my hand journals.
EARLY AM DEVOTIONS
Heard: Safe. Transition. Don’t worry. You are safe. Come to Me dear one. I will set him in safety from he who puffeths. I am with you child.
Psalm 12:5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set [him] in safety [from him that] puffeth at him.
ANOINTED HANDS: I turned in Anna’s Bible to the following: We are well able to overcome. (Caleb’s good report.) The Lord shall fight for you. And you shall hold your peace.
Numbers 13:30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
Exodus 14:13-14 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever. 14 The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
Exo 14:14 AMPC+ The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.
I wondered what “hold your peace” meant and when I looked it up I was puzzled. Most of the translations say be silent, still or quiet.
HOLD YOUR PEACE – TO SCRATCH, ENGRAVE OR PLOW WITH A TOOL
Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary
חָרַשׁ charash (chârash)
Search for H2790 in KJVSL; in KJV; load in ESI.
חָרַשׁ chârash, khaw-rash’
a primitive root; to scratch, i.e. (by implication) to engrave, plough; hence (from the use of tools) to fabricate (of any material); figuratively, to devise (in a bad sense); hence (from the idea of secrecy) to be silent, to let alone; hence (by implication) to be deaf (as an accompaniment of dumbness):—× altogether, cease, conceal, be deaf, devise, ear, graven, imagine, leave off speaking, hold peace, plow(-er, man), be quiet, rest, practise secretly, keep silence, be silent, speak not a word, be still, hold tongue, worker.
APPLICATION: I couldn’t help but notice that in the old days they “scratched and engraved” with writing instruments and I am a scribe. This morning I was moving 2 Bibles back and forth with my hand journal, plus Bible apps and PC, all part of my morning devotions with the Lord and to record it. It really is a handful.
I went back to bed to finish my night’s sleep:
HEARD: Productivity. I care because you care. Don’t overload yourself sweet one.
I dreamed I was in a class and someone on the far left side of the class sent me her 2 page of hand written notes on ruled paper. They were about a teaching that her favorite mentor from the past had taught her. I was really touched that she wanted to give them to me and thanked her in front of the class. I told her I needed to lay some things down first as my lap was too full. I saw I already had a stack on the floor of a pile of various Bible versions, several notebooks and misc pens. I also had things in my lap that I needed to put down. I was gasping at all the stuff and didnt have a clue how I was going to be light and easy and carrying it all. I turned to John Paul Jackson who was sitting next to me. He appeared to be about 30 years old and had a hair cutlike they were back then. I said to him, I think the Lord is telling me I am carrying too much weight. He smiled and nodded that he agreed with me.
Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
HEARD: To come into alignment is to be still.
Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Psalm 4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
When I woke up I went to Word to Ponder website and this popped up:
CONFIRMATION WORD TO PONDER WEBSITE: BALANCE – NO LONGER DRIVEN!!!!!
Dear one, I heard your cries and feelings as your pace slowed and you sensed your productivity waned. No, I AM not done with you! Yes I have had you in a resting place for a season and yes now I AM moving you once again. I rested you because in your driven state of productivity you would have suffered burn out should I have allowed you to continue there.
Now that I AM moving you, I AM giving you a new contentment level in living a much better balanced life. You have been in a body, soul and spirit check point where I AM spotlighting the areas that need recovery and health. I AM teaching you to care for all of you, just as I care for all of you. I AM so pleased to see you follow Me and be obedient to what I AM asking. Maturity is recognizing that I created you with body, soul and spirit and I want you preserved blameless until I come. You will find great peace in living this way and I will pour into you a sense of great satisfaction.
1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it.
