8/02/21 SCHEDULING TIME WITH THE LORD
In March of this year, the Lord began drawing me to a different way of living my daily life. I have always had enough time to do all that I either needed and wanted to do. We have a family calendar but I have never kept a personal one for myself. He began calling my heart to search out and ponder what I could do to change and live a more balanced life to get my body, soul, spirit healthy.
So I began making lists of all that I could do for each category of body, soul, spirit and even mind. Then I bought and also made different types of tracker calendars that I put into my daily memorial journal to help me walk out a plan. Each week I choose things from my lists and scheduled them into different days. It is helping me live much more balanced variety so that I don’t burn out.
When I pondered what I could do for my spirit, He reminded me that even Jesus had a routine. Of course I have sought the Lord daily and nightly, but this was different. I began to schedule my time with Him. I remembered Anna, she lived a very structured and self disciplined lifestyle. For decades she spent her mornings and also last thing at night with the Lord.
Mark 1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a lonely place, and there prayed.
Mark 6:46 And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.
Luke 4:42 And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and would have kept him, that he should not depart from them.
Luke 22:39 And he came out, and went, as was his custom, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
Luke 5:16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.
On my list regarding my spirit, it has evolved into this order. I do this routine every morning:
- Speaking in Tongues. (on my daily walk)
- Taking authority over problems. (on my daily walk)
- Prayer. (in my chair with hot drink)
- Quiet time with Him to listen. (being still before Him)
- Recording what I saw / heard. (in my hand written journal)
- Time in scripture. (via several Bible apps)
- Writing it down.
- Studying the Gk/ Heb of quickened words in a passage.
- Applying it personally.
- Writing what I am grateful for that day.
- Typing in what I recorded from my journal and also nightly digital recorder.
- Searching for connecting inserts from past rhema.
- Posting it if it is to be shared. (on line)
I believe this is helping me to:
- grow and mature my spirit man every day.
- break through my personal limitations in having intimacy with the Lord.
- Each time I face a “blank page”, the daily routine/ momentum makes it easier to overcome.
- Each time I face distraction, the daily routine of “practice makes perfect” is helping.
- Each time I come to my quiet time, I am finding it easier to quiet myself.
- live more disciplined regarding staying on top of typing.
- removes the dread of having a pile to type!
- makes it easier to share more timely.
- establish good daily habits that will bear fruit.
- seeing my prayer time receive more responses.
- experience more confirmations regarding scripture.
- see more themes in which He speaks on a daily level.
- because I am typing what I receive at night and daily devotions into computer on the same day.
- my faith to grow because I am taking the time to truly connect and ponder during a set time with Him.
- this has to do with focus during a “set time” with Him.

As always I am expecting a reward from the Lord for seeking Him.

7/06/19 “TAKING” TIME WITH THE LORD
Watch. Be still. Follow through. [With what Lord?] Timing. It’s not just going to happen. You must take it.
I saw my youngest granddaughter come to me and she was speaking with animation, joy and speaking clearly. She was so pleasant and cute. I saw a maturity take place in her and I was thanking the Lord that He had answered my prayers. I saw that she had a cute little applique decoration above her left eyebrow. It was a black pirate’s sword that was swirly and cute. I watched as she climbed up onto a day bed and sit there with her legs out. I knew the pirate’s swirly represented TAKING the plunder. The daybed represented sitting with the Lord during the day and not depending upon hearing Him at night as I used to.
I heard the Lord say, Preparation for what is ahead. Dedicated time set aside. Watch. Just be at peace dear one. Rest.
WORD TO PONDER: SCHEDULING TIME WITH ME 7/06/19
Dear one, when I was on earth ministering to so many, even I had to schedule My time to be with My Father. Before and after the demands of crowds, I went as often as I could to be with Him, Whom My soul longed. I understand the great longings you have. I understand how you want to please Me. I understand all that pulls at your soul and what weighs you down. Precious one, simply come! I AM placing no expectation upon you except that I wait with open arms to welcome you into My embrace! How precious you are to Me, how very precious. I will comfort you dear one, simply come.

WORD TO PONDER: WILL YOU SIT WITH ME? 2/16/15
When you learn to give Me your time and sit with Me every day, I draw near. Dear ones, I hear you calling upon My Name and wanting more from Me. When I am near, like baby birds, you cry out and flap your wings. As you open your mouth to receive and flap your wings of faith, I give you morsels and teach you. Through a process of revelation and quickening I show you how to draw from Me all that you need for each day.
Learn to expand what I give in morsel form by praying over those things that are quickened to you. Ask, seek and knock. Search them out, ponder them, study them, let the scripture come alive as you learn to study it and apply it to your life. I AM building a solid life and foundation of faith inside of you piece by piece. Grow up dear ones and learn to fly!
John 14:26 But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

5/02/18 BENEFITS FROM SITTING DOWN WITH THE LORD
I saw a cup of coffee or a cup of tea. I heard the song, there is a river that flows deep within. A wall of fire. Your road map. I saw an open book with a pair of hands spreading open. I can give you the whole series. For God so loved the world that He gave.
Neville has a cup of tea every morning with the Lord on the outside veranda and has done that for years. It is a quiet time to be in silent prayer, bask at His creation, commune and ponder.
Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
WORD TO PONDER BENEFITS OF SITTING WITH ME 5/02/18
Dear ones, I give you My Word for fellowship, communion, meditation, guidance, comfort, rest, stability, encouragement, correction, warning, confirmation, and simply the JOY of knowing you are walking with Me and I AM walking with you. This cannot happen unless you spend time with Me soaking in the Words that I have given you. As you bring what is quickened back to Me, I open your eyes, your ears, your heart too experience a deeper depth of all that I want to build within your life. The more time you spend with Me, the more I will give to you precious one!
What I build in you on earth makes a recognizable difference in your life in eternity. As you spend time with Me on earth, your eternity gets even more beautiful and purposeful. You have no idea what amazing things I have in store for you!
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for them that love him.
