TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS

This morning the Lord gave me Psalm 90:12. I felt it was an answer to my thinking about old age.

Psalm 90:12 So teach [us] to number our days, that we may apply [our] hearts unto wisdom.

As I studied it and the whole Psalm in context it is all about our days are numbered, allotted a certain number. The right prayer is that He gives us wisdom in how to abide in those days we are given.

For me, its all about how do I want to live the remainder of my days that I am given? In my mind it is not about fighting to stay alive, but enjoying what life I have. What matters is that the Lord is with us through each day and we get the most out of those days with Him.

HEARD: Courage dear one. Your joy is set before you. I saw a large banquet table like a Hawaiian smorgasbord. You are safe in My arms of love. I have carried you.

Isaiah 46:4 And even to your old age I am he; and even to gray hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
