12/18/22 THE CAROLING OF THE WATCHMAN’S BELL
HEARD AND SAW:
Ringing in the new year. I saw hand bells ringing. The changing of the guard. Seasons change. New assignments given. Watchman on the walls. Bringing forth good news. I will equip you.
Isaiah 52:8 Your watchmen shall lift up their voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
Psalm 130:6 My soul waits for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
12/21/22 CONFIRMATION: One of my favorite songs is the instrumental of Caroling of the Bells played by hand bells. We had a handbell choir play at our wedding and they played that song for us. (Wow, 47 years ago!) The ringer on my house cleaner’s cell phone is Caroling of the Bells and I have wished many times that I could somehow have that song as a ringer. Today I was trying to connect my ear buds and searching for orchestra Christmas music to listen to. I found a screen that allows me to search for ring tones and I found my favorite, Caroling of the Bells!
Besides a precious gift to my heart’s desire, I know it is a parable and answer to a conflict I have had for many years. Below is the conflict and the Lord’s answer to me.

QUANDARY ABOUT WATCHMAN
I have always wondered about the scripture where in the OT the blood of those not warned would be upon the watchman who did not warn. Today I read a well written, but very rebuking article on that topic and once again considered my calling and where I fit. My name is Warner and years ago I was told by someone who considered me a prophet, that my strongest anointing was to bring warning into his life. But even to this day I don’t think I have fit the mold of a prophet. I do have the prophetic giftings in which I have modeled how to hear & understand the Lord in how He speaks. Yet I have continued to wonder about being a warn-er!.
Scripture says to overcome evil with good. So most warnings I have are tucked inside words of edification, exhortation and comfort. I prayed about the article. Tonight the Lord gave me the verse below that clearly says there ARE watchmen who are called to bring GOOD NEWS, not just warnings of what the enemy plans. How good is He to answer my question and help me settle this.
Isaiah 52:7-9 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that says unto Zion, Your God reigns! 8 Your watchmen shall lift up their voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion. 9 Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.
So as I choose to put this past year behind me, hopefully having learned the lessons the Lord desired, I put my heart and focus towards receiving His good news throughout 2023. Merry Christmas to our loved ones in the Quickened Word family! May God’s GOODNESS ring in your hearts this holiday season and throughout the year of 2023.
WORD TO PONDER: WHO DO YOU SAY I AM? 7/23/07
When I labored and created the earth, I looked over everything that I made and saw that it was very GOOD. I also gave gifts of creativity so that mankind could understand that what is created comes out of the heart of the person creating. The creation is a message that in someway represents the person behind it. What I created was GOOD, because I AM GOOD.
Live in such a way that men will see your GOOD works and glorify Me, for a GOOD man will bring forth GOOD things from the GOOD treasure stored in his heart. When I walked the earth, I went about doing GOOD and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. I give GOOD gifts to My children and I do not change; I AM GOOD. Every GOOD and perfect gift comes from Me. I AM and always will be, the GOOD Shepherd.
Remove your focus off the devil. Overcome evil with GOOD. Abhor evil and cling to GOOD. Never repay evil with evil. But instead pursue GOOD. If you want to see GOOD days, refrain from speaking evil. Turn away from evil and do GOOD. Beloved, all in the world is very simple. You have only 2 choicesGOOD or evil, coming from the kingdoms of light or darkness. You need to make your choice and stick to it until the end, knowing Who I AM and Who keeps you. Separate and discern what you are listening to. You need to separate the mixture and choose the GOOD part. A GOOD report makes My body healthy for I know the plans I have for you, to give you a future and a hope.
Ex 33:12-13,18-19; 34:5-7 NKJV
Then Moses said to the LORD, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ 13 Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight… 18 And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” 19 Then He said, “I will make all My GOODness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. … 34:5 Now the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 6 And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in GOODness and truth, 7 keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”
