WHAT IS YOUR CONSCIENCE?
11/23/19 WHAT IS YOUR CONSCIENCE?
OUR CONSCIENCE
Our conscience is that part of us, that through perception and understanding we agree with God. In the purest form, it is our sense of right and wrong according to God’s law. If defiled, the sense of God’s right and wrong is no longer clear but sullied. If allowed to continue to be soiled, it can become cauterized, scarred and finally evil.

WORD TO PONDER: CONSCIENCE (1980’S)
Keep your conscience void of offense. I placed it within you to be your barometer, your sounding board of My approval or disapproval. Nurture your conscience, and do not grieve it. For in grieving it, in order to cover the pain, you will eventually numb its ability to discern for you, and you will lose this precious gift. You numb your conscience by continual rationalizations. Listen to your thoughts. Inside you wrestle with them over and over again, constantly defending yourself. Listen to how your thoughts compromise the issues. Be wary of this, for your conscience is a very tender gift. If you are faithful and follow My inner nudging, you will be given greater and greater responsibilities and thus rewards.
“And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offense toward God, and toward men.” (Ac 24:16)
POEM: TRUTH WILL SETTLE YOUR CONSCIENCE
When to speak and when to be silent
Needs My wisdom when among the violent.
For the enemy seeks to accuse your hearts
Remain faithful to My Word, do not depart.
As you remain in the place I’ve put you
I will weave the loose ends and mend you too.
In time you will see My Truth in clarity.
Of what measures up to My image in thee.
Your conscience being weak will accuse you too much
Your liberty to taste, wrestles in the touch.
So wait on Me to release your freedom
I will settle issues and their outcome.
My Truth will quicken your conscience alive
To release the lies of demonic contrive.
Let not your heart condemn you for love
To love is pure, My design from above.
Whatsoever is not of faith is sin
To partake without such you will not win.
To separate the dross from My pure Truth
Will release your walk above the uncouth.
I mature your conscience as you grow in faith.
Step by step Truth releases you unscathed.
Rest in the process and grow in virtue
I will grant you My peace in all that you do.
Listen to that important gage inside.
It goes up and down as you learn to abide.
It’s My peace that helps you grow in measure
As you yield to Me all that you treasure.
To step outside your boundary or metron,
Ahead of Me is unsafe like a pawn.
The enemy seeks to move you forward
Outside your measure of trust in My Word.
I will go before you and stretch your border
You will know the way as I put Truth in order.
Listen for My cues of quickened candor.
They will punch your heart with drawing for more.
Yes, continue to listen for My voice
I will help you to make the righteous choice.
I will speak through everything in your life
If you but listen as you rest without strife.
I will open your ears to hear the details
And punch with relevance, hammered with nails.
Each cue will establish and stretch your border
As I confirm and plant with life-giving mortar.
Connect My Words from the common sums.
Tiny Words connected enlarge eardrums.
To hear the common denominators –
Increases your measure of land to explore.
Step by step your conscience will find freedom.
Great joy you’ll discover in My kingdom.
Wait upon Me to build what’s lacked in thee.
And soon increased boundary will be history.
And those treasures you gave to Me to hold
Will become My glory as history unfolds.
Your fast from touch will have taken its course
While you waited upon Me to know your Source.
I impart good gifts for you to partake.
I will open your eyes and draw you awake.
Your choice to fast, seeking faith to sustain
Your boundaries for freedom will become gain.
My child, I know your heart, I know it’s pure.
All that you have held, is so very dear.
But you must know your own heart that’s true.
So fast right now and I will buy you new shoes.
Your feet are growing, if that be possible!
The expanse of your metron must be stable.
Always remember My peace is your gage.
My peace will keep you in your maturing age.
Listen to Wisdom, He is at your door.
He will draw your heart always wanting more.
I have planted a gift within your life.
You have yet to know the depth of its knife.
It separates and cuts the Truth from the lie,
Regardless if your soul accepts or denies.
Your soul and mind wrestle with your spirit
When you approach the Truth and come near it.
As your conscience grows through faith in measure
You will embrace the Truth of My purest treasure.
I have bestowed upon you My finest wealth
It’s My great favor because you’ve denied self.
Ro 2:15-16 NLT
They demonstrate that God’s law is written within them, for their own consciences either accuse them or tell them they are doing what is right. The day will surely come when God, by Jesus Christ, will judge everyone’s secret life. This is my message.
1Jo 3:19-23 NKJV
And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
Ac 24:16 NKJV
This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.
Tit 1:15 NKJV
To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
