Today I was reading and praying into the new year 5787 with Psalm 27 and 127. There are many ways to apply scripture in our lives. This is the true regarding reading people’s prophesies as well. In this case I was reading the two Psalms with the context of “what is prophetically coming for 2027.” I heard the Lord say, Psalm 27. Some by example. Some by Word.

Bob used to tell us that the Psalm # was the Lord’s Psalm of the year. By my hearing the above, I understood that it meant some of the Psalm we will learn by experiencing it, some we will learn by applying/ praying/ studying His Word.

8/13/26 WHERE THE RUBBER MEETS THE ROAD

CONFIRMATION: Today I posted a graphic Where the Rubber meets the Road. It was really quickened to me as prophetic and I remembered what He told me above.

When the Lord first began talking to me about where the rubber meets the road, He was saying it was time to actually experience what I was hearing Him talk about. We are NOW time and no longer stuck in a long season of delay. We are also growing in much speedier timing regarding what we plant through prayer, giving etc as mentioned in this scripture:

Amos 9:13 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that sows seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall flow with it.

For years we learned much knowledge of the Word of God, about Christian life and character, etc. But now we are in a time where we are in the midst of the nitty gritty of real life – walking out what we believe in a way that pays a price, overcomes and gains ground. It is a life that no longer is about book learning but about experiencing life lessons in a literal way. Sometimes we just cant learn those without walking them out.

WORD TO PONDER: IN THE NOW TIME 6/26/24

Beloved forerunners, you have been pioneers breaking ground and paving the way for generations to come swiftly to Me. For many years you have walked in circles waiting for My Words to come to pass. Good news beloved pioneers, I have catapulted you into new times and seasons where what was planted as My Word is in My NOW TIME. What you don’t yet realize is that you have a new set of fast wheels! In “Now Time” as you put your boots on the ground where the rubber meets the road, My Spirit is zooming you forward through accelerated times where what you plant today will be rapidly followed by its fruitful manifestation.

Are you worried about keeping up? Have no fear, it is not by your own power but always by My Spirit. What I have asked for you is to be yoked with Me. My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Come now and yoke yourself with Me and find the joy in partnering with My purposes. Continue to pray and decree My Word to come to pass on earth even as it is decreed from heaven. You will not be disappointed in the results!

TO EXPERIENCE: FOR THOSE WHO WANT GO TO DEEPER

I mentioned above there are many ways to apply scriptures in one’s life. Reading and knowing scripture is very important. The OT is a historical account of God’s people. Their life stories are parables and examples for our day. We learn from their lessons, how God treated them and how important obedience is. Through scripture we learn about growing up in godly character and fruit. And yes scripture has a large amount about the end times with some about the future millennium. We read amazing testimonies that increase our faith in Who is God and how He relates to us and it helps prepare us for what is coming.

As to experiencing scripture: Scripture can be applied as a rhema Word, where God quickens a verse, a passage or a message as a NOW Word, totally applicable to what we just prayed, thought about, or are living through! Those are awesome times when God uses His logos (written) Word and turns it into a rhema (spoken) Word. It suddenly comes alive for right now and for a specific issue.

We can also PRAY scripture. We can read a passage outloud, inserting our own name (or someone elses name) into it and making it much more personal as a prayer to the Lord. It is a way of saying I come into agreement with Your Word Lord, and earnestly desire this to be fruitful in my life! It becomes very precious when we realize the Lord heard and answered our scripture prayers.

We can use scripture as a weapon. Remember Jesus when tempted of the devil said, IT IS WRITTEN. We can memorize, write, speak out loud scripture as a refute against what is intimidating us and stealing our peace.

We can mediate on scripture. We can put ourselves into the scene, using all our senses to enter into what we are reading… consider the background, the issues surrounding that time, etc. I know that for John Paul Jackson, he spent so much time meditating on scripture in that way, that the Lord opened a porthole for him to be taken via visions into those times and places. The Lord taught him first hand about what he was reading!

We can study scripture to discover God’s mysteries. We study and learn how to connect the dots in cross references, search out the Heb and Gk words via Strongs, and create mind maps, charts and lists, etc. This becomes an adventure of finding those nuggets. But it is so beautiful when the results of the study actually MOVES us in experience.

For instance when I study prophesy the Lord gives me understanding and I find personal, applicable peace in my emotions about where we are and what He is doing in the world today. Knowledge, when applied with gifts to understand and wisdom to apply really does help us cope with the times. It not only gives us peace, but also JOY when we learn to partner with God (in prayer and Word) in what He is doing in the times and seasons.

PRAYER: Lord we pray that You will move us from the old mindset of book learning, into the living, active relationship with You – where we experience You in a personal way. Teach us to pray so that we may receive Your timely answers. Teach us to apply scripture to our lives in a personal way. Teach us listen to the myriad of ways You speaks to us and let us walk in the road You are showing us. Let we want to move from learning only through book reading into also learning through first hand experience. Let these times be full of JOY, excitement, anticipation as we see You in our lives and as we walk each day with You. Whooo hoo!
