GOD’S LANGUAGE OF LOVE
HEARD AND SAW: Coconuts. Check this out. Its an extreme hard nut to crack. To have a heart. To feel these things. Emotion. Its true. It’s true, deep inside some don’t know how to let them out. I saw a round nut, it was white like a macadamia nut. I heard God berries. The nugget that connected.
A couple weeks ago I watched a documentary on various nuts and how they process them. Some of the nuts have very hard shells and that actually determines the price of some nuts because they are so hard to crack.
Its all about love. Do you choose to love?
I pondered this list of characteristics of love:
- Patient
- Kind
- Not jealous or covetous
- Not prideful or haughty
- Not rude or uncomely
- Not selfish or irritable
- No records of wrong
- Rejoices over truth and what is right
- Bears all things
- It believes the best
- It hopes all things
- It endures all things
1 Co 13:4-13 NLT Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Prophecy and speaking in unknown languages and special knowledge will become useless. But love will last forever! Now our knowledge is partial and incomplete, and even the gift of prophecy reveals only part of the whole picture! But when the time of perfection comes, these partial things will become useless. When I was a child, I spoke and thought and reasoned as a child. But when I grew up, I put away childish things. Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely. Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.
1 Co 13:4-7 AMP Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].
And then I pondered the list of the fruits of His Spirit, which is the sign of our coming into maturity.
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, self-control: against such there is no law.
HEARD: You are correct. It’s My fruit. Is there something I can help you with? The kindness you have bestowed. Isnt that love? What about gentleness? When you reply in a gentle manner. In children, they know these things. Its less about language and more about action. They don’t have the skills to communicate. But they know love. Love is what you do. The words reflect those actions. How you chose your activity. To remain and not leave. Loves. You are consistent, faithful and willing. Your heart is there. You keep coming back. You know this whether you have the language or not. Actions speak louder than words.
WORD TO PONDER MY LOVE REACHES BEYOND WORDS AND EMOTION 10/16/21
There are so many who have cried out to Me to be able to fall in love with Me, even as in Song of Solomon. Yes precious ones, that intimacy is available and those who pursue after Me will find that precious, reciprocal intimacy with Me. As you follow in My path, I increase your hunger and thirst for Me. I take you through seasons of dryness and much rain, using everything in your life to draw you unto Myself. I use everything to crack the hardened layers surrounding your heart so that you will receive the deeper cries inside of you to have reciprocal, intimate love with Me.
I want you to understand there is something that I consider very deep and precious regarding our mutual love. I have planted within you the ability to connect with My love even without Words. You have learned to love and receive love through actions; yours, others and even My actions imparted into your life. You have grown in the fruit of My love and the characteristics of My love. All these years I have been growing My God seed within you – My seed of love. Its Who I am dear one. Pursue My love and indeed you shall have that reciprocal intimacy with Me, your Beloved.
Song of Solomon 2:10 My beloved spoke, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
