3/21/22 UPDATE: I have prayed several times about this and today I saw this graphic and understood. Sometimes a bend in our road is not about us, but about someone else. Would God go to such extreme measures for one person? Yes He would, yes He does.

11/29/21 MAKE ADJUSTMENTS

Advancing and changing. Adjusting. A season of change. Making adjustments for one another. A balancing act.

12/08/21 DONT TAKE ON MORE THAN YOU CAN CARRY

Not your responsibility. You can stand in the gap for them but they make their own decisions. We will make adjustments as necessary.

I am reminded of Heidi Bakker’s famous quote that she lives by: Heidi stops for the one. As I pondered her journey of stopping for the one, how many people back home are waiting for HER? Does the pressure of her responsibilities affect her choice to stop? Indeed our choices all affect one another.

Ephesians 4:2-6 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; 3 Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
