Exercise: Prophesying Nursery Rhymes
PROPHESYING NURSERY RHYMES
This lesson is learning to prophesy nursery rhymes, which are dark speech that can have spiritual meanings. This lesson has 4 components to it.
1. Choose a nursery rhyme (use below examples or your own favorite)
2. Write ONE word (TITLE) that identifies the spiritual interpretation
3. Write ONE scripture that directly connects with your interpretation
4. Write ONE paragraph prophesying about your interpretation.
If you want to do more than one rhyme, you are welcome to do that, but please follow the directions about the number ONE. Learning to condense and to the point in prophesying is just as important as learning to prophesy.
EXAMPLE: Hickory, dickory, dock
Hickory, dickory, dock,
The mouse ran up the clock.
The clock struck one,
The mouse ran down!
Hickory, dickory, dock.
1. One word (or TITLE) = Watchman

The Princess and the Pea
by Hans Christian Andersen
Illustrated by Edmund Dulac
There was once a prince, and he wanted a princess, but then she must be a real Princess. He travelled right around the world to find one, but there was always something wrong. There were plenty of princesses, but whether they were real princesses he had great difficulty in discovering; there was always something which was not quite right about them. So at last he had come home again, and he was very sad because he wanted a real princess so badly.
One evening there was a terrible storm; it thundered and lightninged and the rain poured down in torrents; indeed it was a fearful night.
In the middle of the storm somebody knocked at the town gate, and the old King himself sent to open it.
It was a princess who stood outside, but she was in a terrible state from the rain and the storm. The water streamed out of her hair and her clothes; it ran in at the top of her shoes and out at the heel, but she said that she was a real princess.
‘Well we shall soon see if that is true,’ thought the old Queen, but she said nothing. She went into the bedroom, took all the bed clothes off and laid a pea on the bedstead: then she took twenty mattresses and piled them on top of the pea, and then twenty feather beds on top of the mattresses. This was where the princess was to sleep that night. In the morning they asked her how she slept.
‘Oh terribly bad!’ said the princess. ‘I have hardly closed my eyes the whole night! Heaven knows what was in the bed. I seemed to be lying upon some hard thing, and my whole body is black and blue this morning. It is terrible!’
They saw at once that she must be a real princess when she had felt the pea through twenty mattresses and twenty feather beds. Nobody but a real princess could have such a delicate skin.
So the prince took her to be his wife, for now he was sure that he had found a real princess, and the pea was put into the Museum, where it may still be seen if no one has stolen it.

3. Prophesying
Surrender
Do not be frightened or dismayed that I am requiring you to give control to Me. I realize that it is difficult and may feel as if you are being broken into many pieces. But if you continue in your own willful way, your fall will result in a painful crushing. I want to save you from this. Surrender your will and allow me to shape and develop you for the place I have called you.

Many ministries have I brought together in the union of marriage, but one fulfills the completion of My purpose. Two diners, one meal and complete satisfaction. You were made for each other, enjoy the meal I have prepared. My thoughts were with you both to provide, sustain and nourish in this dining of marriage. You are truly one as you clean the plate of blessing. Be filled, be loved and be known; I prepared the meal.

COMPROMISE
When you sit in the place in-between opposing beliefs, and compromise towards each side, you will ultimately fall. I AM calling My people to make their decisions and cast their votes in what they believe, and whether they will obey My Word. I AM removing compromise and bringing the earth to make her decisions, yea or nay and Whom they will serve.
Josh 24:14-15 NLT
Serve the Lord alone. But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.”

DISCERNMENT
When I train you for greater levels of discernment, many things will knock on your door. If you give what you hear and see to Me, I will give you understanding and you will not fear. However if you trust in your own wisdom, you will be frightened due to your innocence. For even as Adam and Eve ate of the tree of knowledge, it opened their eyes to know good and evil and prematurely see what I intended them to see only through Me.
Isa 7:14-15 NKJV
Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel. Curds and honey He shall eat, that He may know to refuse the evil and choose the good.

Rom 12:4-8 NKJV
For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, 5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; 7 or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

BRIDE
My beloved bride is being trained towards greater sensitivity to My Spirit. Her resting place is being settled in My Word. She will know ME so well, that she will know even the tiniest little nuance that is awry with My Word and make adjustments that are needed.
Heb 4:12-13 NKJV
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star poem
Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are?
Up above the world so high , like a diamond in the sky
When the blazing sun is gone, when he nothing shines upon,
Then you show your little light, twinkle, twinkle all the night.
Then the traveler in the dark, thanks you for your tiny spark,
He could not see which way to go, if you did not twinkle so.
In the dark blue sky you keep, and often through my curtains peep,
For you never shut your eye, ’till the sun is in the sky.
As your bright and tiny spark lights the traveler in the dark,
Though I know not what you are – twinkle, twinkle little star.
Overcoming
Dan 12:3 “Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who turn many to righteousness will shine like stars forever. “
Jesus said I am the light of the world. Live your life in close fellowship to Jesus, let His light shine through you and you will bring forth much fruit. His Spirit is available to you, to give you the wisdom that you need and you will shine like the stars in the midst of a dark world.

Unity
Philippians 2:2
2Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
It brings me great joy to see your marriage in great unity. You walk together with your mind on one goal. I declare, two are better than one because they can lift one another up, yet you two have fallen together. But make my joy full by receiving strength from your unity–when you fall together, lift one another up and bear each others’ burdens. This is the benefit of unity in the Body of Christ.

Fear
Matt. 7:26-27
” But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell and with a great crash.
Your fear has caused you to try to stradle the fence. But that fence has become a wall not easily stradled. The time is coming when the wall you are trying to stradle will be shaken. If you try to remain on the wall, great will be your fall. Look not to man for healing but to Me who has called you to be my own. I am able to keep you.

3. Prophesying: (I am prophesying this to myself and to no one else necessarily).
[Jesus speaking] Your pride got in the way of hearing My Voice, and you did not seek Me for answers and for wisdom. Instead, your own mindsets and actions exalted itself against the knowledge of God. Then you fell with a great crash. No one could put you back together again, except for Me. You kneeled down before My Cross and repented, and I forgave you and extended grace and mercy. I am now restoring your life. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore, with lovingkindness have I drawn you. Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt. Jer 31:3-4

Is. 11:3
And He will delight in the fear of the LORD,

Nor make a decision by what His ears hear;
This is for you little brother. Little sister. I take notice of you. You are learning to live in a new level of My Spirit. Old familiar ways, abilities are being renewed. I am cutting you free of them. A new wineskin. To judge by your natural eye and decide by your natural ear is passing away. It is uncomfortable but rejoice, I shall lift up your head above your enemies. I have prepared a table for you in the presence of those enemies. Eat My words My Bride and they will become the delight of your heart. I rejoice over you. It is well with your soul. You are called by My Name.

Little Red Riding Hood
Little Red represents a covered by the blood of Jesus saint in a world where the wolf prowls around ready to devour and destroy the saints. The Grandmother represents a wise elder who is positioned to lead the younger saints on by example. However, the wiley wolf creeps in and devours her (or in a gentler version ties her up and puts her in a closet) then sits in her place and position to deceive and destroy red when she arrives at “Grandmother’s House”. Sadly, Red herself contributed to the wolf’s attack on Granny as she disobeyed her mother who instructed her not to talk to strangers on the way. The sneaky wolf used the information he gathered from Red and quickly ran ahead to set the trap. Thankfully, Our Savior, the woodcutter, was about that day and destroyed the wolf and rescued Granny and Red.
John 10:10 Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I have come that they may have life abundant.
Moral: Beware of the wolves along the way and the ones that would put on sheep’s or “Grandmother’s” clothing so as to appear as a saint. And: Always call out for help from the “woodcutter” – He’s sure to save.

Ecc 10:2 The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left.
Dear children, while sitting on the walls of the cities to try and protect it, be careful as not to fall off the wall as this will cause great commotion and confusion in My body that are relying on you. Always remember that as I lift you up with more responsibility, so your feet must tread lightly and carefully upon the wall underneath you. Pray that you wont fall, and if by chance you should fall, pray that My angels will be ready to catch you and put you back on the wall where you belong!

I will never leave you nor forsake you. There is no darkness, evil, or temptation that can overcome Me. I will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it. I am faithful and have called you to walk in fellowship with My Son, Jesus Christ. Continue to trudge this road of happy destiny.
John 8:12 (Amplified Bible)
12Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.

Mary had a little lamb
Mary had a little lamb,
little lamb, little lamb,
Mary had a little lamb,
whose fleece was white as snow.
And everywhere that Mary went,
Mary went, Mary went,
and everywhere that Mary went,
the lamb was sure to go

Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full;
One for the master,
And one for the dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane
