5/15/21 STRUGGLING TO BE STILL AND KNOW HE IS GOD
HEARD: Fellowship. I’m still here sweet one.
I heard the above at midnight. It was so clear and I missed Him so much. I complained to Him. For years I wanted to hear Him during the day as I did at night. Then I started hearing less at night and more in the day! No I wanted to hear Him at night again! I keep praying and trying. I have gone through so much, wondering if I did something wrong, if He was done with me, etc. I just miss how it used to be at night with the Lord.
So I got up and sat in my recliner with pen in hand, hoping I would hear Him speak to me. Lord is that why You are not talking to me at night as much as You used to – You want me to sleep??
Exactly. Volunteer lover.
(Lord please I want fellowship with You. Do you have anything You want to say?)
I will commune with you upon your bed. My Beloved. I am not hindering you. You have free access. Watch care over your soul. I planted a new beginning for you. I will meet you there. (Went back to bed) I saw a deep sea diver bring up a chest from the deep water. In this girl.
Psalm 4:3-4 But know that the LORD has set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him. 4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
Psalm 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, LORD, only make me dwell in safety.
Suddenly I had the memory of the little boy from Family Circus going to get something from the store for his Mom. The route he took was up, over, down and through, all over the neighborhood. The path was full of detours. I had just dragged myself out of bed at midnight in hopes to hear Him, went potty, got a drink, got everything settled, and overcame other distractions then after hearing to go back to bed, I finally settled back in!
There, there child. All the trauma you go through. I miss you too. I need you to be still My Beloved and not fuss.
6/04/16 BEING STILL BEFORE THE LORD
Fellowship. Dig deeper.
[Oh Lord, I have spent decades asking, seeking, knocking and sometimes it feels like I am getting nowhere in my deepest needs for fellowship and intimacy with You. How can I dig deeper than what I am already doing?]
Spend time with Me. That’s all. The phrase “Be still and know that I AM God” immediate came into my memory.
Ps 46:10-11 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. 11 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
A quality of life in being still, I assure you.
I saw lots of activity in a classroom. Children, you have got to learn how to sit down. Be still. Safe canopy. Lid on
WORD TO PONDER: LEARN TO BE STILL AND KNOW HE IS GOD 5/15/21
Precious child, I love you so much. I have taken you on many journeys to find ways to get your daily bread. You have learned many lessons along the way. Sometimes I smile watching your track record and the miles you cover just for one morsal! Your hunger for Me moves Me to passion too. I miss you just as you miss Me.
In your search, I have never wanted you to suffer stress, frustration or trauma over seeking Me. I know your needs, your desires, and your hunger. In your hunger to find My daily Word, can you let go of the mindsets that limit your entering in? Fussing will not accomplish a thing, but bring you more stress.
My Word comes from being still before Me. How do you be still? Put away all distractions, bring your focus upon Me and My goodness towards you. Accept My promise to you of daily bread. Yes pray for it every day, just as I said. Settle in and trust that I have heard your prayer and I will either bring you to your bread, or I will bring your bread to you. Sometimes you search and dig, sometimes I drop it opening right before you. Ask Me to open your eyes and heart to see and receive it. Be still and ponder what is there. I will reveal your portion and you shall be satisfied.
