THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH
3/03/23 THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH
Today as I was reading the following I was pondering that scripture says that the fight for our faith is GOOD. He says that in whatever we do, if we do not have faith, it is sin. If we want to please Him, we FIGHT for our faith. God is good and He tells us to overcome evil with GOOD.
1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you are also called, and have professed a good profession before many witnesses.
3/16/23 GUARD YOUR FAITH
Your faith is precious to Me. Guard it well.
1 Timothy 1:19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made it shipwreck:
Romans 14:23 And he that doubts is condemned if he eats, because he eats not of faith: for whatever is not of faith is sin.
How To Fight The Good Fight Of Faith
- Overcome evil with good:
- Romans 12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
- Abhor (detest) evil, cleave to that which is good.
- Romans 12:9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.
- Abstain from the appearance of evil
- 1 Thessalonians 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. (The view or sight of)
- Never repay evil with evil but instead bless and live peaceably with all men.
- 1 Peter 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but on the contrary blessing; knowing that you are unto this called, that you should inherit a blessing.
- Romans 12:17-18 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lies in you, live peaceably with all men.
- Love and pray for those who persecute you. Bless then, don’t curse them. Do good to them.
- Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them who despitefully use you, and persecute you;
- When reviled and suffering, commit yourself to God.
- 1 Peter 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judges righteously:
- Submit to God then you can resist the devil.
- James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
WHO DO YOU SAY I AM? 7/23/07
When I labored and created the earth, I looked over everything that I made and saw that it was very GOOD. I also gave gifts of creativity so that mankind could understand that what is created comes out of the heart of the person creating. The creation is a message that in someway represents the person behind it. What I created was GOOD, because I AM GOOD.
Live in such a way that men will see your GOOD works and glorify Me, for a GOOD man will bring forth GOOD things from the GOOD treasure stored in his heart. When I walked the earth, I went about doing GOOD and healing all who were oppressed by the devil. I give GOOD gifts to My children and I do not change; I AM GOOD. Every GOOD and perfect gift comes from Me. I AM and always will be, the GOOD Shepherd.
Remove your focus off the devil. Overcome evil with GOOD. Abhor evil and cling to GOOD. Never repay evil with evil. But instead pursue GOOD. If you want to see GOOD days, refrain from speaking evil. Turn away from evil and do GOOD. Beloved, all in the world is very simple. You have only 2 choicesGOOD or evil, coming from the kingdoms of light or darkness. You need to make your choice and stick to it until the end, knowing Who I AM and Who keeps you. Separate and discern what you are listening to. You need to separate the mixture and choose the GOOD part. A GOOD report makes My body healthy for I know the plans I have for you, to give you a future and a hope.
Ex 33:12-13,18-19; 34:5-7 NKJV
Then Moses said to the LORD, “See, You say to me, ‘Bring up this people.’ But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ 13 Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight… 18 And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” 19 Then He said, “I will make all My GOODness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you. … 34:5 Now the LORD descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD. 6 And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in GOODness and truth, 7 keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”
LEARNING TO STAND IN THE POWER OF MY MIGHT 12/4/02
You may feel as though you have been tossed upside down by evil storms, but I want you to know that I am pleased with you! There are many ways to overcome the evil one and above all, your shield of faith has grown strong and enduring. You are fighting the good fight of faith and I AM well pleased with your stand.
In this process of abiding faith, you are learning what it means to fear the Lord. It is better to fear Me then the devil. If you live to please Me, then you have nothing to fear, for divine restraints are put into place and nothing touches you except through My loving mercy and compassion. It is in the knowledge of the fear of the Lord that your faith can finally come to rest. What does it mean to fear Me? It means to really know that I AM Boss and I mean what I say and I do what I promise.
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of GodPraying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” (Eph 6:10-18 KJV)
PUT ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
- Pray and live in the truth of His Word.
- Live righteously in alignment with God by pleasing Him. Tighten your belt and be obedient to His Word.
- Walk in quiet rest and peace without striving with God, men and devils.
- Stand in your persuaded convictions and belief in God’s truth.
- Think wholesome thoughts in accordance to His Zoey life.
- Speak, decree and pray The Word of God which refutes all evil.
Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places. 13 Therefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thus with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
