DID YOU LEARN TO LOVE?

2/14/23 DID YOU LEARN TO LOVE?

I remembered Bob graduated to heaven on this day and thanked him for his sacrifices for us. And then I remembered his personal Word to me: It’s too heavy for you. Lay it all down at the foot of the cross and I remembered the W2P that I posted this month when my clothes rod fell. Both Bob and Anna always stood on this verse:

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

WORD TO PONDER:  LEARN TO HEAVE THE WEIGHTY MATTERS
Beloved one, many issues are weighing at your soul and your body. I see you doing everything you can to walk above it with great courage. But My heart breaks for you as I hear your heavy sighing and feel your deep sorrows.

Learn to take the emotions and tears that are too deep for words, and turn them into prayers. I know this is difficult for you, but you need to express them to Me and get them OUT of your soul and ONTO ME. I AM the One Who wants to carry your weighty burdens. I wait every day for you to pour these out upon Me so that I may pour My peace back into you and give you relief. Yes let the tears flow and the groans pour forth. Do not quench and hold back My Spirit, just release it all to Me, precious one.

1 Thess 5:17-19 NKJV
Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit.

THE PAST FOR HIS PURPOSE

HEARD:  Where the rubber meets the road. What you did for Me. Soul surgeries and sacrifice. What you let go of precious child. I saw a shovel digging into some fiery coals. Its all behind you in your past. [ I thought of Him being a consuming fire and grateful I don’t have to repeat my past tests that the Lord allowed for good.]

Hebrews 12:27-29 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.

When you please Me, everything else falls into place. It all aligns properly. Did you learn to love?

I thought of my past trials and said, Lord if love is patient, yes I learned to love. If love is kindness, yes I learned. If love is forgiveness, yes I learned to love. If love is death to self, then yes Lord I have learned to love.

Are you sure? [To the best of my knowledge at this point, yes I am sure.]  Then you are mature dear one. It is the greatest gift. It’s what you gave to Me.

1 Corinthians 13:1-13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not love, it profits me nothing. 4 Love suffers long, and is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Does not behave itself rudely, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, keeps no record of evil; 6 Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 13 And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

REVELATION: I suddenly remembered that in honoring Bob Jones today, he was known as the prophet of love and his life Word was Did you learn to love? We seek so many things in life, but when the Lord calls us to grow up and become mature, He has one thing in mind. We go through what we go through so that we may grow up and learn to love.

8/05/04 REDUCED TO LOVE

Reduced to love. That is always My answer. I have not changed.

Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

“What does love look like?” is the question I’ve been pondering. “What does love look like?” “What does love look like?” is the question I’ve been asking of You.

I once believed that love was romance, just a chance. I even thought that love was for the lucky and the beautiful. I once believed that love was a momentary bliss, but love is more than this.

All You ever wanted was my attention. All You ever wanted was love from me. All You ever wanted was my affections, to sit here at Your feet.

Then I sat down, a little frustrated and confused. If all of life comes down to love then love has to be more than sentiment, more than selfishness and selfish gain.

And then I saw Him there, hanging on a tree, looking at Me. I saw Him there, hanging on a tree, looking at me. He was looking at me, looking at Him, staring through Me. I could not escape those beautiful eyes and I began to weep and weep.

He had arms wide open, a heart exposed. Arms wide open; He was bleeding, bleeding. Love’s definition, love’s definition was looking at me. Looking at Him, hanging on a tree

I began to weep and weep and weep and weep. This is how I know what love is, this is how I know what love is. And as I sat there weeping, crying those beautiful eyes, full of desire and love. He said to me, “You shall love Me, You shall love Me. You shall love Me, You shall love Me”

With arms wide open, a heart exposed. With arms wide open, bleeding, sometimes bleeding.

If anybody’s looking for love in all the wrong place, if you’ve been searching for love, come to Me, come to Me. Take up your cross, deny yourself. Forget your father’s house and run, run with Me. You were made for abandonment, wholeheartedness. You were made for someone greater, someone bigger, so Follow Me. And You’ll come alive when you learn to die.
