To Bed I Go

There are many ways God can speak to us. This morning I really wanted to hear the Lord’s voice and see visions and so I kept praying and asking. In the Bible it says to “Be still and know that I am God.” God taught the boy Samuel in the Bible that He spoke when Samuel went to bed, even before he went to sleep. So I went back to bed even though I didn’t want to sleep.
I told the Lord I was being calm and submissive by laying down. I was thinking about how doggies jump up and down when they are happy and frisky, but they lay down when they are at peace, being calm and submissive to their owner. I quieted my mind, prayed to the Lord and then rested so I could be still. I was able to hear the Lord just as I had hoped.
Later today God gave me a confirmation, which is another way He speaks. Confirmations are a way that God says to us, YES YOU DID HEAR ME!”
Today He told me “Yes!” through a typo. When I was moving the following ABC Heaven graphic to a new file directory, I accidentally typed the label for the directory as Bedstill instead of BeStill!!!
1 Samuel 3:9 Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he calls you, that you shall say, Speak, LORD; for your servant hears. So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
Psalm 4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
