9/23/25: 5786/ 2026, THE YEAR OF THE TENT PEG

Number 6 is the Hebraic letter Vav, which is symbolic of a tent peg or hook. This year is the year God’s people will cry out for enlargement. Many have been silently growing and become so pot bound they are finding themselves in very tight (and troubling) places. The cry for expansion is contended for inch by inch, to hold ground while pressing forward. It is a year of stretching with intention, stretching for an increased place of freedom from tight places. And it is a year of leaning into the habitation of God (His tent) and seriously dwelling under His canopy of protection and fellowship.

Isaiah 54:2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations: spare not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.

Isaiah 22:22-23 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. 23 And I will fasten him as a peg in a sure place; and he shall become a glorious throne to his father’s house.

Tent pegs are used like stakes in the ground for claiming territory.
Spiritually they can represent an established, sure and validated place.
Such validated places are secured through many confirmations.
It is one thing to claim a territory, it is another to stretch out the cords and connect them to those claims. Cords represent our lifelines of literally walking out what we believe.
In order to fully occupy a new enlarged tent, we must put feet to our faith and walk it out in the natural.
Walking out takes courage, faith, trust, persistence and willing to endure hardship like a soldier.
Quitting is not an option if we want enlargement from dwelling in tight places.
The above bulleted list are good prayer points for this year.

This month in praying into the new Hebraic year 5785/ 2026 I received two visions that represented tabernacling with God under a canopy. In the first vision I saw a family sitting underneath a covered canopy and their focus was on hearing the Word of the Lord. They were caring for 2 innocent children and teaching them how to live holy lives and focus on the Lord.

In the second vision I saw thorny bushes and vines approaching a covered canopy. I saw an angel inside the covered area close a gate to all that was outside the canopy. The Lord told me those who dwell outside among the thorns will not be covered and protected under His canopy. They will remain in tight places while the Lord waits for them to repent and change and be willing to come to Him on His terms.

Mark 4:7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

Mark 4:18-19 And these are they who are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

HOW TO TABERNACLE UNDER HIS CANOPY

[Lord please teach us how to tabernacle with You]

Tabernacled by faith. Come fellowship with Me. Give Me time says the Lord. Put Me first place. The Holy Spirit brought into remembrance Sadhu’s story when he saw Jesus on his couch waiting for Sadhu to join him. Sadhu looked up and said, Just a minute Lord I am almost finished. He was just finishing up his work on his computer.

Come lay down. Yes sweet one we can fellowship there. You don’t have to sit in your chair if you don’t want to.

UPDATE 9/24/25 FOREVER AND EVER, ALWAYS AND ALWAYS

I was up in the middle of the night spending time with the Lord then went back to bed. I prayed for those who are not underneath His protective canopy. I have such a desire to gather them in my arms to protect them. This morning, when I first woke up, I heard, Dear volunteer intercessor, forever and ever, always, and always, thank you.

9/24/25 CONFIRMATION FROM QWN MEMBER

Last night, I told the Lord that I wanted to tabernacle with Him. Like what you wrote (smile). So I put on soft worship instrumentals, then I covered my head and face with my prayer shawl. I prayed softly at first, words of thanksgiving, then I got still. Oh, how I loved the moment!

After some time had passed, I had a vision of a wall/ a tall hedge, made out of so many mixed flowers. Then the center started to part and open. As it was opening it was forming a heart. So one would enter through the heart. I wasn’t moving, just observing. It was so lovely, tears filled my eyes.
