REBUILD YOUR WALLS

1/18/24 REBUILD YOUR WALLS

Today as I drove all around our town to see the results of the ice storm that our area went through. I saw people everywhere picking up fallen limbs, cutting trees, and filling trailers and trucks. I saw trailers and trucks driving around, filled to the brim with branches and logs. When I went to the gas station the man said I needed to come back early if I wanted gas because he was running out every day. I wondered why and he said almost everyone had extra tanks they were filling for chain saws and equipment.

As I watched all the “workers” come out of their houses and city workers along the streets, I felt this was a living sign of the Words in Nehemiah. I kept thinking about Nehemiah where each house was responsible for repairing their own wall that had fallen. At that time they were in a season of warring and building, which in most instances seems incongruous. But the Lord was with them in their unified goal and their commitment to rebuild what had fallen inspite of the opposition and threats. They saw the importance and put in the effort to get the job done.

Nehemiah 4:16-18 And it came to pass from that time forth, that the half of my servants worked in the work, and the other half of them held the spears, the shields, and the bows, and the armor; and the rulers supported all the house of Judah. 17 They who built on the wall, and they that bore burdens, so burdened themselves, everyone with one of his hands worked in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon. 18 For the builders, everyone had his sword girded by his side, and so built. And he that sounded the trumpet was by me.

In my own yard, the electrical company had plopped a temporary but huge concrete barrier in our yard in order to keep a telephone pole from falling. The fact that they use these barriers as walls to keep drivers safe on freeways, was such a sign to me. The barrier was placed at the end of our own wall of ivy we had planted years ago. Now it seemed a sign to me that last fall we told our yard man to allow the ivy to grow even taller. The Lord is highlighting it is time to rebuild our WALLS of safety.

Nehemiah 1:3-4 And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great distress and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. 4 And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,

THE BURDEN BEARERS 2/9/00

I AM the Lord Your God in the midst of you. I dwell in the midst of unified intercession. Even as elephants walk trunk to tail along the vast trails of migration, I send you to walk similar paths of intercession. In your journeys you shall walk to and fro and the paths of your feet shall encircle those within. Like those within the walls that Nehemiah raised, all will benefit and dwell within the safety away from the false accusations, the mockers, and those that would slander the work of God.

In the process of building this wall, I shall give you gifts to evaluate the work needing to be done, I shall equip you to do the work and I shall set your hands to work within the seasons of My own time table. I AM like the king who released Nehemiah to do the work, sent the letters of endorsement and protection and gave all the supplies needed. He lacked nothing, neither will you. Even the laborers had the heart to join raise up the walls. Each man shall build the wall in front of his own family, and together they link arms and build the circle of unity. I will establish watchman to warn and warriors to guard even as they build. Together the walls will raise and all who live within shall remain in safety.

“And whatever more may be needed for the house of your God, which you may have occasion to provide, pay for it from the king’s treasury.” (Ezr 7:20 NKJV)

A RIGHTEOUS HEDGE FOR A GREAT MOVE OF GOD 5/04/13

Beloved intercessors, the balance scales of justice is delivering to all men according to their works. Pray and stand in the gap for your loved ones who are living in sin. Pray that where sin abounds, My grace will abound even more. It is only through your own righteous walks and prayers that covers their wicked deeds and defiance to My Word. Stand, pray and live within the boundaries of obedience to My Word. Build up your walls and hedges of protection around your families and cities.

I know you feel outnumbered and overwhelmed. But I shall multiply the righteous seed and your prayers. Although darkness abounds, your prayers and righteous stand brings the dawning of a new hope, where My light arises and drives away the shadows. I AM revealing the nature of the power of your prayers and who you are in Me. Dear ones, stand and declare, for My great move is coming and you shall be very satisfied with your intercessions when you see the dawning of that great light!

“He will even deliver one who is not innocent; yes, he will be delivered by the purity of your hands.” (Job 22:30 NKJV)

Isa 60:1-4 Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. 4 Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from afar, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.

2Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; to which you do well that you take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
