DEALING WITH OFFENSE

2/02/24 KINDNESS WHEN DEALING WITH OFFENSE

2/02/24 OVERCOMING THE BOULDER OF OFFENSE

HEARD: How she maneuvers these boulders. Stones of offense. She lays down her life and keeps moving.

Isaiah 57:14 And it shall be said, Heap it up, heap it up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.

1/13/24 HOLD YOUR TONGUE

I saw a lighter with a flame switched on and it was being held close to somebody’s tongue.

Lord protect us all from saying the wrong thing and causing a forest fire!

James 3:5-8 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasts great things. Behold, how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and has been tamed by mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

Psalm 17:3 You have proved my heart; you have visited me in the night; you have tested me, and shall find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

Lord I pray that You will not give us over to sifting regarding what we say. Help us to keep a loving guard over the door of our lips that we not sin against You, grieve Your Spirit, or wound others. May our words be gracious, kind and gentle to all who listen in Jesus Name.

UPDATE 2/06/24 KINDNESS TO OVERCOME OFFENSES

Today as I was emptying garbage, the Holy Spirit brought back Bobby Conner’s word that kindness is a key and I saw how that helps overcome offenses. Then when I got back to my chair I turned to this W2P excerpt:

EXCERPT WORD TO PONDER:

Instead speak kind words, showing forth My loving kindness to a lost people “rich” in unbelief. They are kept through your choices to forgive, guard and release them from judgment. If you hurl unkind words back to them, it releases devils to destroy their lives, and they become even more blind.

I show forth My loving kindness to generations of wayward sons. It is through My kindness that I draw them to repentance. I long for sons, those who will know Me as Abba Father. Love others as your own family, treat them kindly and I will gather them.

Rom 2:4 AMP

Or are you [so blind as to] trifle with and presume upon and despise and underestimate the wealth of His kindness and forbearance and long-suffering patience? Are you unmindful or actually ignorant [of the fact] that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repent ( to change your mind and inner man to accept God’s will)?

2/07/24 THE ROCK SLIDE

This morning I watched a clip on someone stopping their car and rolling a boulder and fallen rocks from the road. Many cars went around the small rock slide before he stopped and took the time. The boulder was something that a smaller framed person would never even consider. Obviously he would not have stopped, if had he not been equipped to be able to roll the stone off the road. It was not only his time and unction to stop and fix the problem, but it was also the ability what he had to give. Also it is dangerous to stop in the middle of the road. But the small slide already caused traffic to have to go around it. I am sure he considered the risk and safety factor before stopping and getting out of the car.

Philippians 2:13 For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

I saw this as a parable to overcoming stumbling stones in our road. We need to carefully access the risk in “dealing” with these. Sometimes it is safer to silently forgive and drive around an obstacle instead of removing it. That is when you pray about it, release it to the Lord and ask Him to remove the issue His way through His means. Always remember that when it comes to being His servant of sacrificial kindness, that He never condemns you for bypassing an opportunity. You will know when you are the one to deal with issues because He will give you the unction, the will and the ability to partner with Him for such.

If you sense there is a risk in your venting or saying the wrong thing, that is a caution the Lord is asking you to consider this season. I am remembering the above warning vision when I saw of the lighter flame being put to the tongue. This is the year of the doors. One of those doors is the door of our lips. If we speak with passion and urgency, let it always be seasoned with salt and love.

Psalm 141:3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.
