1/17/24 HOW THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN
Our region just went through an ice storm that affected power, internet and even cell phones. The roads finally melted today so I drove a few blocks, but had to turn around due to trees and wires in the road. It looked like a war zone. Even telephone poles had fallen in our area. Most of the evergreen trees were unaffected, with a few isolated branches on the ground. But the deciduous trees, it appeared that the majority of them had broken branches. The tallest trees looked like an invisible blade had flown across the top of the tress and cut them off.
It was quickened to me that the large an old growth trees simply could not carry any more weight. They were heavily pruned, many toppled over. And the top half of the skinny but tall trees were gone. They were not strong enough to bare more weight. Seeing these were such a dramatic sign reminding me of past Words I had about Him pruning trees. In some cases the trees are removed and some cases they are pruned so they may produce in another season.
Matthew 3:10 And now also the ax is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
John 15:2 Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he prunes it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
We have been praying that the Lord will turn the destruction in our area for good. I am already experiencing more light in our home because the trees in an empty lot across the street were severely pruned. The crews came through and cut all of them back several feet from the wires and that was a protection for power and internet wires. The area has updated many telephone poles.
HEARD: As I was praying over this massive event, I heard: How the mighty have fallen.
2 Samuel 1:17-19 And David lamented with this lamentation over Saul and over Jonathan his son: 18 Also he told them to teach the children of Judah the use of the bow: behold, it is written in the book of Jasher. 19 The beauty of Israel is slain upon your high places: how are the mighty fallen!
Jeremiah 1:10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
APPLICATION: In context to my hearing, How the Mighty Have Fallen, I feel the most severe pruning represents the house of Saul has fallen. There has been a long war between the house of Saul and the house David, spanning decades. God has been calling His people to come out and be separate. The house of Saul represents the enemy of David, whom the Lord has anointed and chosen to rule as king, as shepherd, as prophet. The house of Saul represents the spirit of control that opposes the move of the Holy Spirit. It represents those who persecute the anointed ones operating in the gifts of the Spirit. It represents jealousy, suspicion and the accuser of the brethren. This spirit is within many of the main denominations today, their people and leadership.
2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
WORD TO PONDER: THE HOUSES OF SAUL & DAVID HAVE PAID A PRICE 11/12/00
There has been a long war between the house of Saul and the house of David. My people have been divided and separated in a civil war. This war has been going on for 40 years and it has cost much. Many, many soldiers lie dead or wounded on the battle field. Through false accusations, misunderstandings, word curses, judgments and rejections, evil spirits were loosed upon both sides and caused many casualties.
I sent you as a soldier into this battle, equipped with enduement, fruit and gifts. You knew it was not against flesh and blood, for it grieved your heart to see brothers divided against brothers. Your battle was in the spirit realm as you sought to forgive, and cover those whose hearts and hands were not innocent. And even in the spirit realm there was a great price to pay. Now that I have given you understanding about such a long war, you are beginning to feel the wounds over so many losses. I know you are grieved and I know you are exhausted with the pain of so many including your own.
In your territory, I sent you as a leader to face the front lines in such a battle. You fought bravely and kept your post. You are My servant, My faithful one who dared to say yes to My call. Thank You My dear one.
And now I send you My angelic and human nurses to pull out the fiery darts and the wounds from the past. I send an army of nurses out to heal the broken and wounded. Put the past behind you My love, for this war is coming to a close. Many years have passed, and much has been accomplished in the spirit realm. I want to restore what you have lost, and give you double gifts of what you had before. Begin to lay those things – each one of them, before Me and ask for replacement. It is yours for the asking. Trust Me to restore and rebuild. Trust Me to bring this war to a close and bring unity to My house. This unity may not come in the way you want, but there will be a united brethren going forth. These are culled from those who have paid the price and who were willing to suffer anything that My Spirit and My plan be not quenched, controlled or sullied by religion. A new family, new friends and new fellowship are in the making. Take courage, and rest now. Let Me nurture you back to health.

WORD TO PONDER: CONNECTING THOSE WITH THE HEART OF DAVID 12/09/13
My dear ones, you who have learned to wait upon Me! How you have touched My heart. I long over you and desire to bring you together with other kindred hearts so that you may walk together in unity. I AM bringing you into your places, after the house of Saul has fallen. Those who have resisted My Spirit are separating themselves from My anointing as they counted the cost yet would not yield their own agendas to Me.
In contrast, those with the heart of David have yielded all to Me, and earnestly coveted My Presence and all that it brings. I love you dear ones! Great joy is in the camp as I AM drawing you together and preparing for another move of My Spirit. Wherever I go, you go, for you earnestly covet all that I have to offer!
1Co 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet I show unto you a more excellent way.

The smaller trees, having not fallen but seriously pruned represents the removal of branches in individual lives that do not bear fruit for the Lord. Although painful, the Lord will use the pruning for good so that people will leave dead works. He will be calling the compromised ones to return to clinging to Him, living holy and righteous lives that will bear good fruit for the Lord.
1/23/24 UPDATE – IN THE JAWS OF A MOTHER BEAR’S LOVE
The tree crew came to cut down the last of the dangling trees in front of our house. There was a giant big machine said 160 SW Grizzly. It has a giant claw that can pick up a whole tree or a large pile of cut branches. It can also grip a tree and turn its claw all away around so it rips the branches away from what is caught in the bushes. It was quickened to look up the number 160!

I felt like I had a front row seat to all that was taking place regarding this Word about pruning and cutting down trees! The Lord is both kind and severe. It is His mother bear love over His own, that takes the ax to some trees and heavily prunes others. He is jealous for our love and He is a consuming fire.
Deuteronomy 4:24 For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God.
Hebrews 12:27-29 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Therefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
WORD TO PONDER: MOTHER BEAR 9/15/03
I AM placing the fear of the Lord over My own. The closer they come to Me, the more they tremble before their Holy God. They have known My kindness, but they do not understand My severity. I delight in lovingkindness, judgment and righteousness in the earth. My grip is like the fierceness of a mother bear when she protects her cubs. The devil is luring My own through cunning deceptions. I will use anything that shakes and trembles My own to train them, in order to keep them from wandering off from their safe place of being nestled in My love.
“But let him who glories glory in this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the LORD.” (Jer 9:24 NKJV)
WORD TO PONDER: HAVING PUT AWAY OLD IDOLS 2/22/17
Throughout decades My church has gone through much cleansing. Those who heeded My call, put away idols. I took them layer by layer, peeling away all that defiled. In the process My people learned both My loving kindness and My severity. Yes just like a Mother bear who loves her cubs, I have fiercely protected My own. After much pruning and shaping, My remnant church have learned their lessons.
With the ministry of Elijah of bonding the children with their fathers, many curses have been reversed and a new beginning is now underway. The way has been prepared for My kingdom to come to the earth through My called out ones. Having forsaken her idols, my remnant church is standing as a beacon in the midst.
Ho 14:8-9 Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard him, and observed him: I am like a green cypress tree. In me is your fruit found. 9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall stumble in them.
Mal 4:5-6 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
